Blog’s rank doesn’t matter with me before until I signed up with blog advertising companies. With barely 2 month-old blog, mine is almost at the end of list in ranking or have a low market value. Since advertisers prefer blogs with Google page ranks, getting a high-paid opps is next to impossible. In short, I don’t qualify to take it. However, it’s better than nothing.
I was wondering how Google page rank can be achieved. Alexa and Technorati’s principle in page ranking is well understood for I can see my ranking increased as my link to other sites is increasing in number. I have read articles in increasing a page rank but I cannot get it’s point. According to the articles, one way to achieve PR is to submit the site to search engines and link to other related sites. But seems it isn’t true. I have come across sites that aren’t that good enough, with barely a thousand or more visitors, that has less than a hundred links but it does have a PR of 3. How come it happened?
Good thing that IZEARanks.com was launched. Blogs registered in this site will have their RealRank using blog ranking system based on traffic and the influence of blog. I hope IZEARanks.com is as good as other relevant rankings that’s considered by advertisers in laying the opportunities to the marketplace. This way, blogs that with a PR may possibly have a high ranking or otherwise. Early today, I signed up for IZEARanks.com and I think the system is good enough. I just had to copy a code and paste it in my page’s html. Though figuring out where to paste it took me almost an hour, finally it was a success. I’ll just have to wait until tomorrow for my RealRank to appear and I hope this could help my blog elevate to higher level to qualify for high-paying opportunities. Moreover, Izearank is not only about ranking but my blog will also be visible to others who have signed up. Thus, it could possibly add traffic to my site.

As the title of this post goes, this should be wordless. However, I can’t help but write something about the picture. This is the Vanishing Island (White Island) in Camiguin taken during our adventure with my friends last January. It’s a 5-minute ride through a small motorized boat from the shores of Paras Beach Resort located in Mambajao, the capital town of Camiguin Island. The island has no trees nor even cottages where visitors can stay to shed themselves from the heat of the sun. Just don’t forget the sunblocks if you want to enjoy the beauty of the island under the heat of the sun. Well, getting a sunburn after walking in the pebble-like sand and dipping in the cool water is worth it.

A former HR counterpart sent an email 3 days ago and had it opened yesterday. Ohh, so sorry Jacque for the delayed response. Good thing that there’s no urgent matter in the mail….just how she feels right now regarding her job, now that I left. After taking over the tasks of one assistant who opt to terminate her employment with the company, she’s now taking the responsibility of monitoring my replacement’s job. So far, she’s the most senior in terms of tenure in the department being next to me before I quit. I could imagine how pressured she is now attending to almost all concerns not to mention the pressure from her superior.
Actually, I missed Jacque a lot. I remember our bonding time in Divisoria the last time that I went to Pasig for a departmental meeting. We took Friday off to buy some invitation materials for my wedding. A day before that trip, I was briefed on do’s and dont’s in going to Divisoria. One of it is where to put my money. We were all laughing at the idea that I’ll put my money inside my brassiere. But I’m barely cup A and so did Jacque. Guess it is better to put the money there if our cup size is larger *lol*. Jacque, maybe breast lifts in Houston would be helpful to us *lol*.
