Happy Earth day everybody!!!! Should we all be happy with all the that’s happening to our mother earth? After all, it’s humankind’s fault for not taking care of its natural resources thus, we are suffering from sudden weather changes, or worst natural calamities. Have read about rantings of our fellow bloggers regarding the weather….snow fall during spring or raining during summer. Well, it’s only one of the many drastic effects of global warming due to greenhouse effect. My 6th grade teacher once discussed that if global warming will still continue, polar ice caps will soon melt flooding the bodies of water that will eventually sink landforms. It’s a nightmare! This would mean, some of the 7,107 islands of the Philippines will soon disappear in the map. Not only that will happen to our country but to others also. Continue Reading »

Marie, one of my high-school classmates who took up Nursing as her second course was assigned in a Drug Rehab center for their exposure in one of their subjects. She said patients in the rehab are those who are well-off, some are even sons of well-known families, celebreties, etc. True enough, Drug rehabs have been thought to be for the elites, for the well-offs, to those who can afford to pay for the treatment and the center itself. But mind you, the investment is not worthless because treatment seemed to be effective that patients get out from the rehabilitation centers fully treated, with shifted paradigms. Continue Reading »
