Sugar is one of the basic necessity of mankind. Other countries does not produce enough or worst, none at all for their consumption. Thus, they import sugar from major sugar producing countries such as Brazil. Brazil’s major crop is sugar cane due to its vast fertile soil. Thus, Brazil is exporting a large volume to the global market or they are the key role player in sugar industry in the world market. With this, Brazil has a great impact on the prices of sugar in the world market and they kept on producing sugar to sustain other countries’ need for sugar. Needless to say, if Brazil will discontinue exporting their product, many countries will suffer from sugar shortage. Top three biggest importer of Brazilian Sugar are USA, Argentina and China. It means part of the food industry of the these countries are dependent on Brazil’s sugar production.

Yesterday, Ace used his new pair of Nike cross-training shoes we bought last Sunday. (I thought he will just keep it in the closet ‘coz he still wore his old rubber shoes during the first two days of the week.) My husband is also an impulsive buyer (like me)…sometimes. 
But he is more frugal than me.LOL. If he buys for himself, he makes sure he gets something for me too. Fair husband. I would know that he wanted something if he keeps on talking about it (but never mention he wanted to buy)…who wouldn’t talk about his wants until he gets?hehe. So, I just read his mind and he’s thrilled everytime I agree with what he’s thinking. Anyhow, maybe that’s the reason why he brought home ice cream and bread last night - to celebrate for his new shoes!

SocialSpark is now running! I have posted about this yesterday but I guess I need to reiterate it. Yesterday, it’s flying and now it’s running! :-) You gotta catch it and join the fun. Yes, I’m saying…F.U.N. Isn’t it having fun like doing what makes you happy such as blogging and earning at the same time? Who wouldn’t grab that opportunity when it knocks on your door? I think everybody likes it except for those who aren’t interested in making money by blogging.
As I was saying, I have signed up for this network of bloggers in the hope that I would earn more from blogging, that turned out to be one of my hobbies. The fact that I am earning motivates me more to blog. Hence, SocialSpark is just in time for my search of other ways to monetize my blog…and yes, it does! As soon as my blog was approved, I am eligible to browse for opportunities where my blog is qualified and if all are taken, I have the chance to wait for a slot. Have met a former officemate in SM last Saturday. Actually, he is one of the management staff. As expected, the first question he asked me is how am I and I said “very much fine because my life is not stressful” with a big grin. Yes, I’m very much happy with my life now…no stress, no pressures. I’ve have recounted this many times and I don’t get tired of telling this again and again.
He, then, gave me an update about what’s happening in the plant and the latest issue is the delayed distribution of rice subsidy. Well, that has been the problem before. A couple of times, we managed to hit the target on distribution but mostly, we’re delayed. The bad thing is, purchasing is always blamed for the delay when the problem really started with somebody who isn’t doing her job and yet, when raised the issue to the plant manager, he will divert the issue by providing “solutions” and not resolve the problem or the problem employee. Hence, the delay keeps recurring. Solutions aren’t sustainable. Have you tried having that kind of boss and co-worker? I’m really disgusted with that kind of attitude. Ideally, employees who aren’t doing their job will be reprimanded but to him and that lazy employee, it’s another thing. He will just ask what happened to the payment and then say nothing nor do nothing. That’s it! And his favorite line, “find another supplier”. That’s how easy he thinks it is. When he even knows that a supplier should go through accreditation process (that will take weeks). The worst is, nobody would even care to file accreditation because they know how long it will take before they will get paid not to mention how long it will take the bills processor to forward the papers to the head office for payment approval and processing and when they follow-up for payment status, they will be answered with ”no status” by the bills processor. Imagine, a process that should be only for 1 month would even take 3 months? Hence, if I am the supplier, I wouldn’t serve the company’s requirements. And that really happens now. Well, so much for that. Will just hope that management will change so that employees will all be happy.

My cousin purchased a high-end house in a subdivision in the southern part of the city and Carol was telling her to get beautiful furnishings. When we got there months back, the house is under construction and will be finshed this month. Just in time for the coming school year because our niece will be studying here. It’s their main objective of getting a house…for our niece who will get a secondary education in the city. Since it’s over a million worth of house, everything should be nice and I would like to refer her to American Home Craft whose expertise is on giving the best for their clients’ home be it a newly constructed house or just a refurbish. American Home Craft, Inc. has a lot of products and services to choose from cabinets, countertops, doorways, windows, vinyl siding and texture coat. I personally want this cabinet for a kitchen. Isn’t it lovely?
