It was Ace’ friends’  wedding we attended when the priest asked for the ring and the rings are gone! The wedding bands were untied from the pillows and nowhere to find. The MOH looked for it under the chairs for minutes and even looked for it at the church doorways but she didn’t find it. It was I guess 5 minutes before they were able to find the ring that rolled over the floor because the ring bearer played with it.

Anyway, in most weddings, Wedding invitations is one of the overlooked detail. I say it’s overlooked because sometimes it is not taken cared of like other details. Wedding invitations is one way of the couple to convey their personality. I mean, it’s one way of telling others about their unique selves. However, invitations are either over budgeted or less than what should be. Some prefers a DIY and some gets from print shops. However, with print shops, sometimes it is not customized such that if you ask for a personalized one, there’s always EXTRA charges. Some are overly-adorned and some are so simple. Whatever the couple prefers, invitations for me should stay simple yet unique. For nice yet unique wedding invitations, one can get from 1st-Class-Wedding-Invitations.com. There’s a lot of beautiful  Wedding Invitations available….simple  yet elegant. You can see the invitation’s details when the mouse is hovered in the sample. A very nice feature I only find in with 1st-Class-Wedding-Invitations. From the site, I like this a lot.

We did miss Ella here. I get updated of the little fella in the province thru Carol’s blog posts. It amazes me everytime Ella gives her piece of logic and I am so happy her brain neurons are sooo active. We don’t know where she gets her statements sometimes. And she has her own ideals also. Before they moved to the province, she was uttering her ideals for her daddy and mommy. She wants her Daddy to have an office work and so did Carol. And I was joking to her, “how about me, I don’t also go to the office” then she replied, “It’s fine. Tito Ace has a work”. As a child, it was instilled in her mind that parents should have regular job or  she just thinks that way because her classmates’ parents goes to work everyday. Anyway, it’s just a little girl’s ideals. It will still change if she can fully understand the situation that having a job does not mean going to the office everyday.

That’s it! The title speaks for itself. It’s been the reality or I prefer to call it “trend” these days. Acquiring a loan is not as hard as before where one needs to have collateral/s before he/she gets a loan. Gone are the days when you need to provide property or lot titles that will serve as collateral. And if you don’t have any, then you cannot be granted with personal loan. It’s quite hard or should I say unfair for those who don’t have collateral but are capable to pay. Personal Loans on the other hand can be availed by anybody of right age regardless of credit record. This is good news for everybody as it will help people with poor credit record to alleviate their status and eventually change their credit standing. It’s like giving others second chance of changing their fate in managing their finances.

My Answer:

Seems like I’m in a beauty pageant. If by chance I’d be a ruler of this world, I’d be fair to everybody because above all I don’t want to be treated unfairly so I don’t want others to feel that also. It’s also not fair to take advantage of my position to get all that I want as a ruler. All things should be implemented fairly for the good of everybody and not of the chosen few. I don’t see myself as a greedy ruler for I really hate greedy people. All I want is for everybody to be happy and those who are menace to the society have a dose of their own medicine.

Now I am going to pass this tag to my friends: Nay, Nelle and Ness.

When our youngest sister CheChe was in kindergarten, I went with her on her fieldtrip in one of the local museums in Davao together with mamang Eling and my sister Carol. It was such a wonderful feeling to see the stuffs on display. There are several items that are hundred years old and some are over a century old. This is just a local museum yet the pride I felt having seen and touched some of the treasures of the past was overwhelming.

One of the museums I’d like to visit if only I got a chance is Stark Museum of Art in Orange, Texas. It houses several collections such as Western Art which depicts images of cowboy life and Indian images in paintings and sculptures. There is also American Indian Art which composes of clothing, body ornaments and beadworks such as elaborately beaded moccasins all made by the tribal community members there. You can also find glass and porcelains like the “The Unites States in Crystal” which is a series of 50 bowls that depicts the states including Puerto Rico and the Union under the Decorative Arts collection. In this collection you can find the series of beautiful porcelain birds. It holds the entire series and also some unpainted ones. The best thing that I really would like to see is the Rare Books and Manuscripts where you can find letters, journals and rare treaures like “The Birds of America” which is the finest illustration book of all time. There is also Stark Foundation which aims to improve the Southeast Texans quality of life by encouraging, promoting and assisting education, the arts, and health and human services.

So if you ever come to the US, it’s a must to visit the city of Orange, Texas for these wonderful and priceless collections!
