Mang Domeng’s Relaxing Massage

I was hit by a colds virus and that gave me a headache. I wanted to just lie down but I cannot breathe due to congested nose. Just a few minutes earlier, I am suffering from running nose. It’s been months since I had a colds and this is my first time I think since I stayed at home. Just wanna share something before I retire early for the day. I’ll leave preparing dinner to Che2x when she gets home.

Yesterday, Ace called the day off from work. We stayed all morning till afternoon here. I watched TV while he is doing his bring-home work. He wanted to have a hair cut so we went out later that afternoon just as the rain started to pour. Ace was a bit picky about who’s going to cut his hair so we headed to the barber shop where he used to have a hair cut - Mang Domeng’s in F. Iñigo St. Continue Reading »

Eight Lies Of A Mother

That was Mother’s First Lie Continue Reading »

Ruby Tuesday: Red Flower

Time for the Red thing! We’ve seen lots of red during the Kadayawan Festival…from flowers to costumes, accessories and props. Here’s a flower of a hanging plant we saw in the Agro-Trade and Horticulture exhibit. I just forgot to ask the name of the plant. Hence, it’s again nameless. Took this shot using one hand because I am holding a cup of Durian fruit shake on my right and I cannot hand it out to Ace because he’s far from me. I hope I captured it well using my left hand. Out of the rat race

Again, Ace talked about his disappointments at work and he really wanted to quit. I cannot say he cannot handle pressure but the workload is too much for him not to mention a number of people he directly coordinates with and the many “bosses” that asks favor for him to do this and that. He should only be directly reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor but with the company’s lack of centralized and coordinated system, their workflow is so complicated that a should be one-process task became multi-process. He has been working hard to make the workflow simple by eliminating some processes that should not be done but he cannot change the whole system of the department and the company as a whole.
