Last minute changes
Yey! I was able to attend the Basic Photography Workshop that started yesterday. It was a last minute decision. As I was telling you previously, I have conditioned my mind that I couldn’t attend it. Hence, I will be attending the 2nd batch of sunset shoot in Landco with fellow FPS members. Before lunch, I informed Eugene Lara that I couldn’t make it to the workshop and include me in the next batch instead. Sir Eugene replied I could attend and pay him when the money is available. I was like…YEY!!!! But had to ask Ace’ approval for that so I texted him and he said “YES”. I was so excited and couldn’t wait for my shift to end so I could prepare.
The session went well. Luckily, I have some basic knowledge of the functions and settings so I was able to grasp the topic very well. The class is composed of 6 ladies….girl power this time! 4 of which are Canon users, the other one is Nikon and the other lady…I am not sure. Haven’t seen her gear during the class. We were all laughing at our 2 classmates who haven’t even read their manuals and doesn’t know how to set their gears to a desired setting. They were like “I cannot understand the manual! There’s a lot of terms that’s hard to understand”. I agree, by just reading the user’s manual, it’s so hard to absorb what it’s telling us but Wacky was so insistent that I should read my manual. To make the principles easier to understand, everytime I am reading on a certain topic, I am also practicing it in the cam so I could understand it better and internalize what it is trying to teach me.
In the middle of the class, Ace texted asking for the workshops’ venue because he’s on his way to fetch me. I only texted him before I left the house that I am on my way and asked him to fetch me. He was shocked. He was not aware that it will start today. All the while he is thinking I’ll be going to the sunset shoot.LOL. Didn’t I mentioned it to you honey? Hmm….maybe he forgot about the schedule that I mentioned last week.
Anyway, it’s almost 12midnight but I am still up. I need to be early tomorrow because my shift starts at 7 and I still need to get my assignment for the workshop done. We are to shoot a flower or a fruit in same distance, focal lenght, ISO setting but in highest and lowest aperture. The problem is, we don’t have a nice flower around here. The Euphorbias are not in bloom now. I was thinking of sending Che2x to Bankerohan to buy roses after her class but she has no class today. What a bad news. So another option is to go to Bankerohan when Ace arrives from work because we are scheduled to go to downtown to withdraw the money I transferred from paypal….my earnings in blogging. Yey! BUT it rained so hard so we’re not able to go out. I don’t have a choice but to get up early and shoot the neighbor’s Hibiscus.*sigh*. This also means I could not sleep longer. Hope I won’t get pimples or worst, acne for staying up late every night. Yes, EVERY NIGHT. The probability is too low though but in case pimples or acne will pop up, I will resort to Proactiv acne cream so I won’t suffer much from that skin problem. Guess I have said a lot. Time to retire for the day.
