Successfully upgraded to Wordpress 2.5

I was usually prompted that my wordpress 2.3 is outdated and I need to upgrade it but have no plan of updating my wordpress account until I have read an announcement that technorati will not crawl on wordpress blogs that is not updated. So, I really need to find ways to update mine. Anyway, that’s my forte, learning how to do things on my own except for highly techie things. Carol’s site was upgraded by Kuya Jun ‘coz of the problem she encountered and when Kuya Jun helped up, he upgraded it to 2.5.
This morning, I decided to upgrade mine so I sought google’s help where to find write-ups on how to do the updating. I have read one write-up after another but I end up confused coz they are saying different things until I found what I am looking for. All that I need is to download the plugin for WP 2.5 Automatic Upgrade here and the most sensible upgrade write-up I have read that served as my guide is found here.
Anyway, after upgrading, I did have problem with my widgets that pushed me to change my Come My Lady theme to Bali Flowers. So, I spent hours looking for a nice theme and tried it all one by one. I am not that satisfied with this current theme, but will use it for the meantime. However, if I couldn’t find better than this, will have to stick on it. :-)

I think I tried to comment when you were upgrading, because when I left a comment on yesterday’s post, I got a “under maintenance” message…
