Better luck next time

It’s two more days to go before Toyota’s promo will end and we haven’t produced even a quarter of the needed money for the downpayment. Oh well, better luck next time! It is not yet the right time to have a car. Maybe somewhere, somehow we could have it but not this time. So we will start saving for a car now so when the right time will come, we just have to withdraw the money and pay the dealer. But I am not into saving money in the banks because interest rate is so low! How about saving the money and if it is huge enough to buy gold eagle coins, pull out the cash and buy some gold coins to keep in the bank instead? And when we needed the money, just sell the gold eagle coins. I think that’s more feasible than me, saving with just a meager interest rate of 2% per annum. The bank will just use it for their investments so it’s better that we use it for our investment instead of them making money with our savings. I’ve already made the first step to saving for the car. I hope it’ll be up, running and earning after a few months. Way to go!!!

So excited for another earning opportunity! My Aeropostale loots arrived yesterday and before I could post those in FB, 3 of the 5 polo shirts are SOLD to Carol, Manang Inday and her daughter Dimple. Yay! I should have ordered more from Faye. Next time, if I have more funds, I will definitely get a dozen or more from Faye though I have told her that I want more Aero polo shirts including those that are for men. So next time she’ll go to the outlet, she’ll get me my orders. Of all the 8 shirts that I got, nothing fits me well or should I say I don’t wanna get one for myself because I wanna sell all. Next time, I’ll get one for me and hopefully for Ace should Faye could get Aéros for guys.

This small business venture could hopefully help in our finances and pay even just our monthly internet bill. Soon, when I have the funds, I’ll venture into bigger items and I hope this will become a success so we could save for a more bigger investment and we’ll be able to buy gold coins. Exciting! That would take a lot of guts, time and effort but I hope with the help of friends, I’d be able to get some customers. Wish me luck!
