There will be a grand EB of Pinay Mommy Bloggers later this year. I wish I can attend so I could meet fellow bloggers from different parts of the country. If I am able to attend, I’ll make it sure that I have business cards to hand out to them so they can keep it for future reference.

The first time I attended a blogging event last year, it didn’t occurred to me that I need a business card to give out to the bloggers in the summit. I just realized I need one when I received business cards of almost everybody who introduce themselves to me.

Hence, for the upcoming EB and other blogging events, I’ll make sure I have my own business cards…and I’ll start working on the design soon to make sure I won’t forget about having it printed.

Wednesday last week, I received a call from a former colleague telling me that I was referred by one of their employees (who is Ace’ HS batchmate) to be their official photographer during their company’s family outing. I was elated. First, because finally our Canon 400D that is more than three years old with us will have its first paid gig! Second, because I will have the chance to be with former colleagues after years of not seeing them! Yay!

Putting up a business nowadays is never easy.  We have to consider lots of things to make the business be known to others. We have to think of various promotions in marketing our business.  It is never easy and too risky but it’s the only way to catch the interest of possible clients and customers. It may mean additional expense but the investment is worth it when products and services that you are offering to them are being patronized.  There are a lot of business promotions to choose from, like giving flyers, business cards, newspapers advertisements, and television and radio promotions.  These are the things that I remember my professor has been telling us back when I was still studying.

I was looking in the Internet on how to promote a business because I want to help my friend in promoting her business.  She has been in the business for almost a year and still cannot find the perfect way to promote her products and services in a very affordable way.  As my way of helping a friend, I did a little research online.  Luckily I did find a good way on how she will promote her business.  This is through sticker printing. It is very affordable and an effective way in promoting her business.  I will surely tell her about this because I am pretty sure this is the missing piece she has been looking for. I am confident that this will be a big help for her and her business to rise and be profitable.
