Errands day

Errands day was Thursday last week. Paying the utilities and bank obligations is taxing and time consuming. Imagine waiting in line for almost an hour just in one bank then hop to another bank for another transaction. That’s very inconvenient for us and we have to allocate a day just for that bank errands and paying utilities alone. Wish we could pay online thru hubby’s bank then just withdraw some cash for annuity payments. It could save us time, money and effort hopping from one establishment to another. Probably it wouldn’t be a problem if we have our own car because taking the public transportation is causing us much delay.

What I loathe about paying in banks is the long queue like this even on an ordinary day (I mean not payday, start, or end of the week).

Long queue in Banco de Oro in SM City Davao on a Thursday.

I learned hubby’s bank accommodates a lot of biller companies so I am planning to enroll our biller companies to his online banking system to be able to pay those companies online with just one click. We don’t need to go out of the house then. But at times, we’re just considering our errands day to be our “date day” too for since Ace started working at home, we’re literally stuck and could only go out of our comfort zone during weekends and errands day.

Stress-related anxiety and insomnia make our already dire circumstances seem even worse, making it difficult to make quick decisions or cope with the current crisis. When an emergency strikes, it’s doubly important to try to alleviate as much stress as possible.
