Last week Hubby’s Cook was invited to join food tasting event at BANGKOK WOK for their WOK ALL YOU CAN (ORDER ALL YOU CAN) 2nd anniversary promo every Wednesday for P330 per person. Wok All You Can at Bangkok WokIt was my first time to join an event together with fellow Davao bloggers. I was so hesitant to go at first because I am not confident to commute on my own at night considering that Bangkok Wok is located in Lanang which more or less 15 kilometers away from our place. Good thing the person who invited me said I Ace could tag along. So off we went to Bangkok Wok in Robinson’s Cybergate in Lanang.

We felt awkward at first because it’s only Blogie who knew us and the rest of the group knew each other. Anyway, food tasting started. One dish at a time fresh from the kitchen. Everybody were busy taking photos of the food. Just before the first dish for the main course was introduced to us, I am already full.LOL. It was a gastronomic adventure for me and Ace since it is our first time there. Not bad for first-timers of Thai food. :-)

Since I am not a fan of EAT ALL YOU CAN (Buffet), this WOK ALL YOU CAN or ORDER ALL YOU CAN would be best for me because I can choose from the menu. Since the dishes are my preference, I will surely full! For Thai Cuisine lovers, don’s miss this great deal from Bangkok Wok.

Sour cravings

IMG_1642

My taste buds’ been odd lately. One minute I am craving for sweets next moment I am craving for salty and sour.

Few minutes ago we just had Bangus Paksiw (Boiled pickled Milkfish) for lunch so I should be having sweets for dessert. For the life of me, I am craving for green mango dipped in sauteed shrimp fry! I am sure a close friend will also be drooling over this green mango and shrimp fry paste. Had it been that she’s well and doesn’t need a thrush treatment, she will have green mango every day of her life! Such a BIG eater of green mango!

Strawberries are red

It looks really delicious but I am not a big fan of this fruit. I like to have those though for photo sessions.LOL. Anyway, these fruits are not as sour as the strawberries I have eaten years ago. It tastes like a native guava for me!

Strawberries

A friend said it is a good source of folic acid…and I bet it contains good amount of vitamins and minerals too. Also a good source of fiber? I am not that sure but if it does, it could then be very essential to the daily diet of those who are trying to lose a few flabs like me. If not, then I would just want a strawberry-flavored fat burner. A fat burner with a twist!LOL.
