I’m back online!

We went home to Kabacan last Tuesday to attend the wake and funeral of a close friend’s mother who happened to be my “Lola” (because she is one of my parents’ wedding godmother). SOP to every trip during weekdays is to bring my laptop – and so we did – so I could work there. Sadly, SmartBro is crawling that it takes forever to open a page. So I just did my workload for the day and went offline. I’m offline from FB for more than a day BUT I didn’t miss it! I just checked my FB for new posts from my groups last night then went offline again. I didn’t miss FB and so wanted to deactivate my account but for some reason, I CAN’T. So I would just minimize my time with Facebook and just check my account once in a while.

A friend’s baby daughter will turn two months next week but I haven’t visited her and her baby since then. My bad! We’re supposed to do a baby shoot when I and Ace will visit her but we just can’t find time – should I say, I don’t exert effort to head out to the door going to that dentist friend’s place. I hope we could do the shoot next week or a week after next when she will report to her clinic to do some of her Dentist Jobs errr…duties…. with her little princess in tow. Hope I won’t be swamped with work or won’t be hit by “lazy bug” to go out next week. I am just too lazy to go out these days. If not because of important errands, I would be staying home ALL-THE-TIME. 

I came across Actos lawsuit and was reminded about my former colleague. I wonder how she is doing now. She is diabetic but doesn’t regularly take her maintenance tablets. It is quite expensive for her and she has two schooling kids to prioritize so she sets aside her needs including her insulin maintenance. She seemed to have no illness when we were still colleagues. She drinks coke as much as I do.haha. She’s not very particular with her diet and eats as much sweets as she can. She’s not minding about her health problem,huh? But then, she looks OK and have no health problem at all.

The last time we bumped into each other was a few months ago. She’s doing well, I assume but has to battle with her diabetes for the rest of her life.*sigh*
