Playing online games in my iPad2

The last quarter of this year has been full of surprises and wonderful blessings. My online career has also been blessed with a lot of opportunities. But perhaps one of the most superb blessings that I’ve received is the iPad. In one of the events that I’ve attended just recently, I won an iPad! It was really an early Christmas gift. Now that I have this amazing gadget, I have been busy downloading apps and games and getting to know more about it. I’ve also got free online bingo games so that whenever I or my hubby feels like playing bingo together, we can just easily use the iPad and enjoy the game.

I remember when I was still young, bingo was played in local carnivals, but with the advent of technology, bingo is now also available online. There are also bingo socials in the malls where it is most accessible for all bingo enthusiasts. Because of technology and development, many games being played have also been adapted to make an online counterpart. It is really amazing how game developers can almost exactly replicate any game or real life situations and apply them with high tech visuals and interactive simulations. Since most households have access to the Internet, playing online games is very convenient and can be done easily.

With high tech gadgets sprouting every now and then, playing games will be done using just our minds and our fingers. Just a push of a button or the click of the mouse, we can be transported to virtual realms. But as for me, I would like to, as much as possible, make good use of the technology that has been afforded to me for free. I would like to grab every opportunity to expand my online career using this gadget, but of course not taking for granted the fact that I need to unwind every now and then. Thanks to technology, I can do all these with just a touch of the screen.

After months of waiting…finally I got the box sent by an online friend that contains kitchen stuffs and this…

Apple iPad I got from my blogging earningsThe Apple iPad that I bought from Glo for a very good deal at 6 months installment! Weeee! She used it for a few months then sold it because she bought iPad2. At first I am not sold to owning a tablet like this iPad but since we are joining bloggers events and we are going out more often now (aside from our usual travel to my sister’s place), we find our laptop too heavy and inconvenient to bring anywhere we go.   Apple iPad I bought from my blogging earnings

After a few minutes of exploring it, I started installing applications and the first one that I installed is instagram! Yay! Sharing photos through instagram takes a longer process because the iPad has no camera. But despite of that, I still find a way to use the app that I’ve been drooling for months now. So now I am officially instagramming our life! Lots of photos to share…from food, pets, home stuffs, the world around us, even the colorful wind spinners of one of the neighbors. Expect more instagram photos from me from now on. Smile

I’m loving Ace’ Nokia N97 phone more than ever! Why? Because I can immediately share photos taken by the phone thru my flickr! Yay! No need of transferring photos from the camera to the computer then uploading the photos from the computer to flickr. Such a convenience for a person like me who share photos in my blogs as much as I could.

Another thing that pushed me to use the phone to take photos is because I am green with envy to friends who are sharing their photos through instagr.am – an Apple application. I love how the photos were processed as soon as they share it in twitter, flickr and facebook. Nokia have no such photo sharing and processing application but I am just glad Ace’ Nokia N97 phone takes great photos!

The other day I started uploading the photos Ace took previously. Viewing the photos from my flickr account made me appreciate his Nokia N97 more! But still, I want instagr.am…and I can only do that if I have an iPod touch or iPhone – which is way out of plan and budget. Oh…that has to wait. For now, I’ll make the most out of Ace’ phone which I am so thankful for lending me his phone everytime I wanted to take a photo of something.

Anyway, here are some photos Ace took during our previous trips.

I just hope Nokia will hear me. Please develop a free application for photo sharing in social networking sites and photo sharing sites!
