Clothing business

The jeepney we rode this evening going some place passed by a very familiar shop named Postura. I was thinking where on earth did I hear about the shop and my memory brought me back to my MacPlas days. Ah, yes! Our shirts for our Sports Fest was made by that shop. It was indeed a pleasure doing business with the owner of the shop. Their product is of good quality that until now the shirt is still “alive” after 5 years of using it.

Wish Ace’ company will source out their next batch of uniforms from them or get it from Lead Apparel. There’s a lot of products and services that the company offers and one of it are embroidered polo shirts. This must be nice for Ace’ uniform instead of just the printed logo in their chest pocket. Those needing custom polo shirts could also get it from them… or even the ready-made ones with quite simple designs, logo or embroidery. I think this will be a great source of polo shirts for some boutique owners. Imagine having your custom design be made and printed with your brand name? Presto, you have your own name in the market! Nice idea! I wanna try that if we decide to go into clothing business. Besides, Lead Apparel is not only selling garments. They also have accessories such as victorinox luggage. One-stop shop eh?

I love discounts!

I am updating my undergarments so I ordered a few pieces from my sister Carol. She said she’ll give me discount so I grabbed the chance. Who doesn’t like discounts anyway? I went from cover to cover of the catalog and ended with a long list at first but have to limit my order so I have to pick at most four. There’s a lot of nice pieces in the catalog but I don’t like the material they used. I like it better at the lingerie site I am frequenting because it is teeming with stylish and nice pieces that includes costumes of different kinds like french maid costumes and gypsy princes costumes. It’s just that I cannot order online because shipping costs a lot!

Barong or tuxedo?

Talking about wedding that I have previously posted, guess it’s now time for my friend and her groom-to-be to decide what to wear during their special day. For men, they can either go with the national costume which is “barong” or tuxedo. I find “barong” a lot easier to find than tuxedos because the latter would still need tuxedo vest that goes with the tux and other accessories for the said apparel. Oh well, it’s not gonna be me who’s getting married. Just my two cents worth.
