Isn’t she so gorgeous? Everybody was surprised and awed to see Gizelle looking so slim and beautiful in her wedding gown. I said surprised because she was a little chubby before. She was actually tall with a big built that made her look like a big woman. Days before the wedding, I was surprised to see her so slim and she happily said she trimmed down for the wedding. I don’t know how she did it but being a nurse, I am sure she opted for a natural weight loss formula instead of the synthetic ones. I must say, she did lost weight beautifully! What a sweet success to her.

Ace is sick and he lost his appetite. I found it hard to feed him because he’s not eating a lot. The food tastes balnd for him. For almost two days of no proper eating, I noticed he lost weight. That easy? Gaining weight for him takes a lot of time and now losing what he gained is so quick. I want Ace to gain weight so he won’t be that skinny but not to the point that he would need fat burners for men. Just additional mass on his body is enough so he won’t look like he’s being on a diet always.
For lunch he requested for a fried dried fish. Thanks goodness he ate more than what he’s been taking since yesterday. Hope his appetite will be back to normal and he will be well soon because we’ll be attending a wedding tomorrow. We both don’t wanna miss that big event!

Stomach fat loss tea. That is what I exactly need this time! Six days to go and I will wear a dress to a wedding. I am too conscious about my stomach fats and I hope I could do something to make it disappear temporarily if not permanently. I’ve seen a local entertainer’s endorsement on a certain tea that is said to be the reason of her super flat stomach and I’ve been contemplating if I’ll try that tea or not. Need to check for some reviews about the product first. Hmmm…maybe the Camomile tea that I’ve been drinking to make me relax and have a deep sleep would help do the magic. In 3-2-1…stomach fats, disappear!

For sure many will rave over quick weight loss supplement that is now in the market. Who doesn’t want to get back in shape in no time anyway? It has always been the most talked about — dieting to lose weight. And yet, we tend to slack on making the first move and later find it hard to keep on track. As for me, I have issues on keeping what I have started especially if I don’t see results that fast. So a long journey of getting back in shape and maintaining the desired figure is definitely not feasible. Just pick your choice, losing weight slowly or fast? Good luck!

If there’s one thing that I really miss in the place where we live before is this nearby subdivision’s entrance that was turned into a jogging track during early mornings and late afternoons. We lived near this perfect place to jog, walk, or bike to tone muscles instead of using just super pump 250 but was only here for a brisk-walk once and numerous ME time for sunset shoots. This is the right place to get sweat because it’s close to nature and you will be definitely inhaling fresh air here. Oh well, nothing has changed. I am still the lazy me to get up early and take a walk around the neighborhood. Much more now that I am working until the wee hours in the morning.

Nothing so much going on around here except that I was able to finish my second photo book. Yay! Hope I have enough funds in my paypal account before the 20th so I’d be able to order it. I spent half of the afternoon browsing in my back-up DVD for photos that I will be uploading in Artscow. I decided to upload the photos taken during our reunion in Kabacan after Tatang’s funeral and the photos taken during the reunion at Mergrande last month. Looking at the photos, I noticed the younger generation have teenage pimples. I went through that stage but not like with what they are going through now…numerous, large breakouts that definitely need acne solutions! If treatment is a “luxury” during my time, I guess these days it isn’t. If it’s not treated, it will surely affect their self-esteem should acne will not stop from recurring.

After our Manila getaway, Ace wasn’t able to report back to work for the rest of the week because he suffered from recurring fever. I insisted he should see a doctor for us to know what’s causing the fever that he was nursing for days. He was advised to undergo different tests to know what’s wrong with his system. Turned out, he has urinary tract infection that the doctor cannot directly tell us what is the underlying cause of the infection. To treat the infection, Ace had to undergo one week of antibiotic medication. I am not into drinking antibiotics but since it was prescribed by the doctor, then Ace has to take it religiously. Thanks to Ace’ medical benefits that covered his consultation fee, laboratory fees, and medicines. Also, we are relieved that the medication is only for a week. If it’s longer and he has no medical benefits such as the one he is enjoying now, we would definitely resort to patient assistance programs where he could avail of the free prescription medications. I should say, it is really expensive to get sick these days.

One of my HS classmate posted our scanned photos during high school in FB and it was really a blast from the past. We were all laughing seeing most of us so skinny with out of fashion get-ups.LOL. During our time, it was the fad but now, it’s “kabukian”.
Anyway, below is our class picture for our yearbook taken in 1996 (ok, get the calculator and calculate how old we are now!hahaha). See those skinny peeps? Only few are healthy babies during our HS years.

And here’s a photo taken last month during one of our classmate’s visit. You can easily tell the big difference. We didn’t look old, but we become bigger (horizontally!) and we’re not Mommies and Daddies yet (except for Doc Shella @ the right). Perhaps if we’ll all be having children, we will gain more weight.

Now everybody is claiming “I gained weight!” and we also ask the same old question “how to burn fat?” for we noticed it is so easy to gain but it is too hard to lose weight unless we go into strict diet and rigorous exercise. Well, for those who need to lose weight for some reason, good luck!

My eyeglasses’ frame is black. I chose it because it can match to any outfit. However, now I find black boring which I don’t realize before that’s why most of my bags, shoes and slacks are black. I am slowly changing my taste in fashion to make life not so dull and I was thinking if I could also wear my favorite high fashion eyeglasses from Zenni Optical’s wide choices of $ 8 Rx eyeglasses. What a great way to start a day. We woke up past 5AM to go to People’s Park for a jog. I think I am going to faint before I could finish the second lap so I told Ace we’d better join the group who will be doing Tae Bo. The city vice mayor is sponsoring “Mag-exercise ta Bay og Day”, a free Tae Bo session every Sunday morning that starts at 6AM then after the session there’s a free bowl of rice congee. Ace was doing great at the start but he found himself awkward following the steps of the instructor so he went to jog while I was doing Tae Bo (for the first time). It was great, and I love it! We will surely go back there every Sunday to avail of that free session. Bad thing, we didn’t have the cam with us so I can’t share photos of how the session went. Maybe next week we’ll be bringing the cam. The session last for more or less 25 minutes and I am so glad I didn’t feel any muscle strain nor I ended up panting unlike when I am jogging. So next Sunday and the coming Sundays, I’d join the Tae Bo session while Ace jogs around the park. This is the start of our plan to get physically active and fit. Hope we could continue doing it to keep our bodies fit and prevent illnesses resulting from sedentary lifestyle. Way to go!
