I came across Actos lawsuit and was reminded about my former colleague. I wonder how she is doing now. She is diabetic but doesn’t regularly take her maintenance tablets. It is quite expensive for her and she has two schooling kids to prioritize so she sets aside her needs including her insulin maintenance. She seemed to have no illness when we were still colleagues. She drinks coke as much as I do.haha. She’s not very particular with her diet and eats as much sweets as she can. She’s not minding about her health problem, huh? But then, she looks OK and have no health problem at all.
The last time we bumped into each other was a few months ago. She’s doing well, I assume but has to battle with her diabetes for the rest of her life.*sigh*

For days we had fruits for breakfast. Ace is not used to eating ripe papayas but after he had two slices, he said it’s nice to have fruits for breakfast. I must agree! I need to cleanse once in a while and it has been more than a year since my last cleansing diet. So now I am starting to eat “healthy” and Ace is not an exception. He has to eat what I eat, or he will prepare his food!haha. Yes, I am trying to eat healthy but I can’t give up drinking soda! My bad! It is my fuel. My energy booster. So there’s no way that I could give up drinking soda that easy.
I’ve been addicted to it. And I know a lot of you feels the same way. I just can’t resist it especially after meals. Yay! I am not drinking every after meal though. It depends when we are have stock in the fridge. But then I know there will come a time when I need to detoxify one of these days. Since I’ve been drinking soda since I was a kid, it might take a while before I would totally be free from sugar and caffeine (as the main ingredients of sodas). Would it be like undergoing opiate detox? I have heard about opiate detox (for those who have been dependent in Opiate). How about Coke detox?haha.

I need to get a few bottles of supplements for different concerns. That made me think that nothing could address all different health concerns in one product. Though there are best multivitamin for men and women sold separately, I think it is not complete despite labels claim it is complete. Besides, our bodies need certain amount of minerals and vitamins so it is still best to take health supplements separately.
Feels like I have an iron deficiency because I feel sleepy most of the time and the complete multivitamins that I am taking is not enough to supplement my daily iron needs. Might as well take ferrous sulfate to address my concern. So a bottle of ferrous sulfate goes to my list along with a bottle of folic acid!
