I don’t read that much lately. Thanks to my busy days; almost everyday of the week is occupied. There are times when I squeeze in time to sit on the sofa reading my fave magazines. Yes, it’s only magazines lately because I haven’t bought books for years. My collection of books was borrowed by a friend and it never found its way back to me. Since then I have never got a book for myself. There’s a self-help book now that I want to buy. Or maybe it is better to rent it but there’s nowhere here to Rent books. Stores that offer Book rental are hard to find in this part of the planet. If you want to read a book, it’s either you buy it or borrow it from a friend.
Glad I found booksfree.com where I can rent books and keep those as long as I want so I can take my time reading. Hence I don’t need to worry about late fees because that’s always my problem, that of beating due dates. I might not return the books on time and I will definitely be paying for late fees. There’s even an Audio books on cd at booksfree.com! An audio book will work better for me because I can just listen to it while I am doing something and I won’t be straining my eyes from reading a book from cover to cover. There’s also children’s books to rent and my niece Ella will definitely love it! What more? Mailing is free so I don’t have to shell out bucks to get and return the books. Isn’t that awesome? If you’re a bookworm, go check the site now and dig into the various book collection that you can rent out. I am sure you will love it!

I’ve been talking about ceramic pottery in my previous posts and my desire to learn that skill to make it as a hobby and eventually turn to a small business. Who wouldn’t like that idea of income generating hobby? As much as I want to learn ceramic pottery, I don’t think potters here could offer me ceramic art education because when I asked one potter, she was so timid in giving out info on how they make the ceramic pots. She just mentioned the pots will be put in a kiln for a day or two. She cannot share where they are getting their pottery supplies, either. So there’s no way to get information from them. I just need to find an institution that offers training on ceramic pottery.
There are children’s art classes now that are teaching classroom ceramics. I could join them if I want to but I feel like I am too old to be in that group. What if I learn the skill by myself? Like what I am good at….learning something all by self thru trial and error. I don’t it won’t hurt and I can get one of those art lesson plans from AMACO pottery supplies. Children’s classes may just be for crafts but it will be a nice start to learn pottery. What do you think?

Aside from home remedies, I am a person who loves DIY (do-it-yourself) things. Though at times there’s no way I can do it at home, I still search for do-it-yourself stuffs online. What prevents me from pursuing DIY projects is the inavailability of the tools and supplies not to mention the monetary resources to buy the tools needed to do a project. So DIY projects such as the lamp shade, picture frames, and cabinets are still on hold.
Another DIY project that I am interested to is making my own ceramic clay pots even just for fun! If only I have a kiln even just an art clay kiln where to bake those ceramics and the ever reliable brent pottery wheels, nothing could stop me from doing colorful pieces of ceramics unless of course if I cannot find supplies for ceramic colors that I want. But hey, AMACO has pottery supplies, right? Must check their site now to check what they have. Should I learn pottery, I wanted this to be one of my hobbies for I know it is a nice therapy to fight boredom and depression. I am not bored and depressed though. It’s just one nice thing to do offline. Who knows, that hobby will turn out to be an income-generating hobby in the future. Thinking about that makes me want to undergo pottery lessons soon!
