At one point I became a Philatelist and a coin collector – not a numismatics because I don’t study systematically study currency. I just collect coins of different currencies years ago. Then the hobby died a natural death. Worst is, I can’t remember where are the coins that I have collected over the years. Ace started collecting coins too. He got the coins from the purses that we sell in our thrift store some years back. But after moving from one place to another, he misplaced the coin purse where he kept the coins along the way.

It isn’t too late to start revive this hobby again. But I don’t know where to get coins now! I don’t want to buy, I wanted something that is given. So might ask friends based in different parts of the globe to send me some coins for my collection.

Photobook is one of my pending projects for the longest time. I realized I need such because I have tons of photos and printing it would cost me a lot not to mention the need to buy a high quality album.

After pushing this project aside for years, I finally broke a leg and started making digiscrap layout for the pages. I am not an expert in digiscrapping so this is a big challenge for me. But as I finish one page at a time, I felt happy and fulfilled..as I am learning new things everyday while putting all the photos together in one page.

Simple layouts but it took me so much time putting things together. How I wish I have extra moolah to buy templates now so that making photobook will be a lot easier. More pages next time!

Finally, I got my Yummy Magazine for this month. I was supposed to buy one last weekend but I forgot to visit the bookstore or the magazine stand at the mall. When we went to the mall earlier, I made sure I get a copy of it before it’ll be sold out. Thankfully, there are still stocks at National Bookstore. They seemed to be very wise in arranging their magazines. What is very visible is the back issue and the latest issue is hidden behind some other magazines. Hmmm….not a good idea, NBS! Unlike with my “suking” magazine stand, back issue is discounted but with NBS, it’s the same rate as the latest. Again, less “pogi points” for NBS. Next time, I’ll make sure I will but at the magazine stand in GMall than getting my copy in NBS. Anyway, I don’t have a choice earlier so I got my copies from them.

While on the way to the magazine displays, I passed by some comic books. I remember my friends who are so addicted to those when we were younger. Those comic books on display are not as varied as those that I have seen in Newkadia.com. Newkadia has the most varied comic books available, I think. With so many collections, I am sure comic books addict will be crazy choosing what they will have. If only I am that fan of such, maybe I will also be drooling over the nice collections in the site.
