Everybody’s still asleep – my sisters, BIL and the kids – so I might as well have my breakfast alone of steamed fish (Lapu-Lapu). Yay! I’ll finish everything before they get up…shhhhh.hahaha. Now my appetite is back again (after not eating that much when the helper was still here). Hence, I am preparing myself not to be shocked when my pants won’t fit me. Then I would try to convince myself not to worry because I can take a slimming pill if I want to lose those flabs by all means. However, not now…maybe years from now if I get tired of my tummy fats.
Anyway, Ace and I wasn’t able to eat breakfast because he left half past 3 in the morning for an official business trip far north. I’ve been awake at 1AM (I missed my support hours because I wasn’t able to wake up at 11PM) and did some tasks online. An hour after Ace left, I crawled back to bed and had a restful sleep with the cold temperature in our room. Oh well, have I blogged about it? We got an air conditioner (after so long!). I’d rather make a separate post about it. Need to go and have my breakfast.

We’ve always wanted to have our own abode but never did we thought of getting one this soon. We’re actually planning about it but not really driven to find one the soonest.
Months ago, we’ve talked to one of our wedding godmother and she advised us to find a house and lot soon and have it financed by HDMF or popularly known as Pag-Ibig instead of renting an apartment. So we planned on purchasing the house and lot of Yang-Yang (one of our close friends) located somewhere down south. But Penchie (another friend) confirmed her plan of the purchasing the property so we decided to get somewhere from a newly developed subdivision offering big lots, if we cannot find a foreclosed one.
Then last month, one of my aunts mentioned that the developer of the subdivision where my cousin got their house is offering a no-equity promo. We’ll just pay the reservation fee and the developer will process the housing loan at Pag-Ibig. No hassle, right? Ace wanted to get a unit badly so he is desperately finding means to provide moolah for the reservation fee. Though the sudvision is located far down south and it will then be too far from Ace’ workplace, he doesn’t seem to care as long as we can have our own. Besides, it’s near our cousin’s house. Talk about living close to relatives! We can see each other more often. Hence, there’d be frequent chatting and food trips! Yay!
Just thinking about getting our own house makes us really excited (though the money for our downpayment isn’t in our hands yet). I am too excited that I’d be able to have my garden there (because we are planning to get the biggest lot) and my own kitchen! Ace, on the other hand, doesn’t care about how long his travel time to work would be, as long as he can call the house his own. Besides, it’s just a matter of conditioning. If you only think about the distance of the house from the workplace, you would really don’t care about living there. What excites us more is that Carol and Donald are also getting a unit so we would be neighbors. Isn’t that exciting? For us, it is! Now we are looking forward for the day that we can pay for our downpayment so that loan processing and house construction would start. Then in a few months we’ll be moving to our own place (keeping my fingers crossed).

My sisters, BIL and Ella went out. I’m supposed to go with them but I chose to stay because I still need to finish something with my research and marketing job. A B-I-G project was given to me and I can’t figure out when I would be able to finish it but one this is for sure, I have made up my mind to complete the 180 hours for this month so I will receive my full month’s salary. Yay! So despite of my sister’s prodding me to tag along with them, I have to stay and just meet them for dinner later. Hence I have a few more hours to work on my task. But hey, time seems playing with me. As soon as they left, I encountered error in using Google Adwords on which my output relies. Read more… »

For days of being in silent mode, I feel the urge to update this blog now despite of my not-so-normal mood to post. I felt physically drained for days that all I wanted to do is sleep. It may be because I haven’t slept that much during the night and neither had a nap during the day. For three straight nights we were in Carol’s FILs wake that made me really feel exhausted. I don’t know why. Maybe because I am not used to go out that often, I mean for three straight nights when I am used to go out once or twice a week on weekends. Nah, that’s the not-so-good thing about being at home most of the time. Read more… »

We pulled out the computer from our bedroom yesterday. So the room will mainly be a bedroom and not a bedroom with an “office” space or a bedroom with an entertainment showcase. It’s better then so we could totally rest and not be bothered with some other things because Ace couldn’t rest as early as he wanted for I am still working with the PC and lights on. How disturbing! So now he could sleep when he wants to while I am still working in my new home office space in the living room. I then changed the bed position hoping that we will get a more “restful” sleep with the new position. Then I pulled out the comforter set (with fitted sheet and pillowcases) that was given by Borski and Nai during our wedding. It’s the first time we use it and it fits perfectly in the old spring bed. For days, it’s been gloomy outside but today was the worst, I think. The rain started to pour at dawn and went on until afternoon. With that cold weather, all I wanted to do is sleep, sleep and sleep. It makes me more lazy to move around and do some chores (though I have done everything except for the dishes used for dinner and that’s Che2x’s turn). I cooked for dinner early (because I was already starving) and by the time that I finished eating my late afternoon snack and early dinner, Che2x arrived and ate. Though it’s too cold outside, I decided to wash the curtains that I bought yesterday and put on some clotheslines for the laundry at the back with the help of Che2x. Read more… »

Happy NEW YEAR!!!! Our year started right, just like what I want.
We have lots of things to be grateful for and things are slowly taking in place. Yesterday morning, Ace received a call from his close high school batchmate – Jovani, that the apartment unit beside them is already vacated so we could rent it out if we want to. I remember Ace asked favor from him since early last year if he knew a house or apartment we could rent and he never forgot about that so when he and his wife knew that the unit beside them is empty, he asked the owner to reserve it for us. That was so thoughtful of him and his wife, Haydee. We are equally excited about the thought that we will be neighbors. Read more… »

So, it’s already noon and everybody’s out already. I am left here with the dogs and cat. I can start general cleaning in the living room and kitchen that I’ve been itching to do early this morning but I just can’t because PILs have allergy on dust. I could do it earlier and they will stay inside their room until I’m done but I waited until the house is clear so I could do my own thing and not worry that they might inhale the dust and FIL will just sneeze the whole time while MIL will be attacked with her cough. Now I could be wonderwoman again and complain about my back later which makes Ace mad about me doing everything and not getting help from Che2x. I can do it. I like it more that I am alone here, cleaning than everybody’s present and I am cleaning while everybody’s others are just having a great time sleeping or just watching TV. I have some issues with that and as much as I don’t want to feel bad about it, I just can’t help. If there’s something to be done, especially if everybody would benefit from it, I wanted everybody to move and help. So it’s better that I am alone. I won’t feel bad then. Read more… »

I know Mommy Julie wouldn’t want to see this. Sorry Mommy! Anyway, I didn’t violate any animal rights here and I believe it has no harsh effect in the ecosystem.

Mouse1: help! I’m stucked!
Mouse2: ok, let’s see what I can do….but oh, it’s sticky! I’m also stucked!
Mouse1: what should we do now?
Mouse2: maybe it’s the end of the world for us. We shouldn’t be here in the house because we don’t belong here.
