Neck and shoulder pains! Yes, been waking up to that for days last month. I was associating the pain to my office chair (Ella’s study chair, actually) because it’s not ergonomically designed. I believed that’s really the cause of my shoulder and neck pains for days but Ace pointed out it’s the pillows that I am using. I used to sleep with one pillow under my head for years and haven’t experienced neck and shoulder pains. Then last month, I started using two pillows on top of each other to elevate my head for convenience reading in my iPad2. When I am too sleepy, I close the iPad2, put it away, then doze off. Unconsciously, I am sleeping with two pillows that elevates my head and upper back further. So when Ace told me to sleep with one pillow, I made the conscious effort to remove the pillow after I put away the iPad2 at night. Days after, I am not waking up to the pain that I am suffering from for days. So that must be with the pillow!
Due to the discomfort that the pain is causing me, I thought of buying the memory foam pillow that I usually see when window shopping at the mall. No budget for the memory foam mattress and memory foam toppers for now. But I would really like to try that memory foam pillow and see how it affects my sleep – if I wake up in the morning feeling so refreshed because I had a really deep slumber.

It took us more than two years to get a TV stand. For some reasons, Ace couldn’t make up his mind. He has this mental picture of a TV stand that he wanted for our entertainment set but when it’s time to shop for one, we always go home empty-handed. At one point he even considered getting a wall mount when he saw a number of wall and ceiling tv mounts in the furniture section of the malls we went to. But then, nothing happened. We still use whatever that we could use as a TV stand from the old center table to the old wooden cabinets, to the utility rack made of cork. Those doesn’t serve the purpose and I am tired of him changing from one furniture to another just so the TV will have a better “place”.
When we saw an inexpensive TV stand the other week, I told him to decide right away. It’s take it, or leave it. Without second thoughts, he agreed that we get it. So finally, our TV and other entertainment appliances has now a “permanent” place and hubby is so happy about it. Finally, the search is over.

After two years and a half, we finally got a TV rack! Not the rack that we really wanted but a cheapo yet decent one. This one is a result of being impulsive buyers. Yes, me and Ace…and not me alone.

Guess where we bought this TV rack? Not in the furniture store. Not in the furniture section in the mall….but in SM Supermarket! We did grocery shopping the other day and we saw this rack in discounted price. Without second thoughts, Ace agreed when I told him we’ll buy it.
It is not what we wanted to have for so long but it serves its purpose, which is the most important thing now…to have a RIGHT place for our TV and other entertainment appliances that we have. And the best thing is, Ace is so happy with the TV rack.
