We’re in the dilemma of choosing color palette for our house interior. All I could think of is neutral colors in the living room, red in one of the walls of the dining area, skin tone hues in our bedroom and blue in the home office. Can’t think of nice color scheme in the kitchen because our appliances and pantry cabinet are mismatched!
Spent hours looking for nice interior colors in the internet and so far I have save some of the photos that we both like. We’ll have it printed and bring to the paint center to check if they have available colors. Times like this, I wish I could have kept the brochures that were handed to us while we were visiting Trade show booths for building and house interiors few years ago. It could have been very helpful now that we are running out of time to finish everything before we move in. It’s so much hassle if we will only repaint after we move in. So better do it now to avoid the inconvenience.

Busy week ahead!
Ace is supervising the installation of the tiles and other repairs in our soon-to-be house while I am left here working on some tasks. I am also waiting for the courier delivery guy to come. We are waiting for the SPA coming from my friend so Ace could process and sign documents in her behalf for the reinstallation of the water line. Why the need of Special Power of Attorney? DCWD won’t honor just the authorization letter and copy of transfer of land title. Oh, Davao City Water District, you have such a very complicated policy and requirements. Yet, your services SUCKS big time!
Anyway, Ace just texted that they have started installing the tiles and the bathroom door. I am so excited to see the floor done! Supervision is crucial at this stage to prevent future problem like what happened with the tiles that we have removed from the living room, dining area and kitchen. Tomorrow is my turn supervise the ongoing work because Ace will attend a funeral service and process the application for reconnection of the water line.

We were at the neighbor’s place the other night. Their househelp is grilling at the griddle when we arrived. After a while, something’s beeping. I thought it’s their oven. The sound kept going on for a few more minutes until I realized it’s the smoke alarm in their kitchen that is making the sound. So they already installed smoke alarms and the next thing would be home security cameras because their place is thieves’ favorite. For us, the 5 dogs are enough to guard our home and they’ve been efficient in doing so but maybe we also need a door alarm in the future.
