That’s how our internet connection went yesterday until last night that loading pages takes more than a couple of minutes. Who wouldn’t loathe that? Normally, connection is slow during weekends because students are at home using the internet and we all share just one base station so it’s congested. But yesterday was the worst with a download speed of just 200+kbps and an upload speed of 7okbps. It will take more than a couple of clicking the refresh button before I can open a site because I usually end with an error page.*sigh* I hope today it will be faster because I still have so many pending tasks to do before we prepare for church (Ace is still in lalaland though). Have to get going while the most of the kids in the neighborhood are asleep so connection is a little bit faster than last night.

I’m sick and tired of deleting unsolicited emails in my inbox. In a day, I get around 20 spam emails saying I won a huge amount in lottery, offering me a business deal, marketing viagra and other stuffs, and also those that are sending insurance quotes. One or two unsolicited emails a week would be okay but humongous number (yes, humongous…borrowed from Sheriff) is annoying. It gets in my nerves that I automatically delete it without even opening the emails especially if I don’t know the sender.
Hope I won’t delete an important email again like what happened to the job offer that was sent to me last year. Good thing the HR called to follow-up for the contract and did not consider my non-compliance to send back the contract immediately as an indication that I am not interested to the job offer.
