To finish Project 365 or Project 366 (it’s 366 because it’s leap year) has been a challenge for me. This year is my third attempt and I am not sure if I’d be able to finish with this project. It’s a double challenge this year because I am doing two projects using two different Apple applications – the Photo 365 and Project 365. The former will be for just anything that makes or breaks our day while the latter will be for our daily portraits.

Using the applications is helpful for me because I am reminded to update this project from time to time. Seeing the thumbnails every now and then inspires me and reminds me to continue taking photos. Unlike the previous years, I am very particular with the resolution of the photos, now I am learning to let go of my “perfectionist attitude” when it comes to photos so I don’t care much whether the photos are noisy, underexposed, or whatever. I just need to update this project as much as I can every single day. Bonus for me because Ace is very supportive with both projects and he never fails to remind me to take our portrait. Along with other friends, I hope my “Photo a Day” and “Us in 2012” projects will be a success. I may miss some days but I really hope I won’t get tired taking photos and updating my two photo a day projects.

Life is indeed a series of stages/phases (I am not pertaining to the biological aspect here but more on the psychosocial). Years ago, I was so addicted to bags. Since I cannot buy everything that I wanted, going around the bags section of the department store (specifically SM City Davao) – looking at every bag and looking at myself in the mirror wearing it is already a therapy. It’s a stress reliever for me! So Ace and I don’t miss those Sunday afternoons at the mall going around from one floor to another, checking every department and stores. During those times that the mall is our favorite place to hang out, we also do our Fashion Walk after work or when we wanted to sport something.LOL.
Lately, we noticed we have passed through the stage of itching to hit the malls anytime we wanted to for a leisurely walk. Weee! Now we go to the mall on purpose and one is to pay bills. We find it convenient to pay bills in SM City Davao – Globe, Sky Broadband, BDO, light, water, and others. So we’re hitting more birds in one stone! Then after paying our bills, we do our grocery shopping and a quick stroll. So that’s how we are spending our time at the malls lately. And we can count with our fingers how many times we hit the mall in a month. If only ach payments is available thru Ace’ bank, then we will most probably be paying bills online through online banking because it’s hassle-free!
I wonder if that “mukhang mall” phase of our life will recur. How about you? Are you still in the “mukhang mall” stage of your life?

It’s Monday – supposedly first work day of the week. But I feel like my weekend is just starting. After a few hours of cramming to meet the deadline this morning, my mind was switched to weekend mode. Hence, I don’t feel like working now! Sadly, it’s not holiday in the US today so I HAVE to push myself to work.
The gang spent the night here and went home after lunch…just when the rain started. So it’s been bed weather whole afternoon that made me feel more like lazing around instead of sitting in front of my PC and work.
After the rain, I’m in the mood to take some photos so I went out and snapped a photo of the flowers with waterdrops on it…a clear sign that it rained!
I am thankful for the rain for it made the surroundings cooler than it should be. For days we are complaining of the hot weather. At least today is different. We are treated with an afternoon rain!
