Whew! It’s been a loooooooong day! I slept around 1am and woke up by Doreamon saying “may isang mensahe (you have 1 message)” then followed by a call from Inah, a fellow coder in in my online work. Ace’ message alert tone is Doreamon and he’s having fun with it. I too likes listening to Doraemon. For almost 2 weeks, our phones are ringing almost every night. You see, the captchas in OHJ are overflowing that they need more hands to enter it. Upon hearing Doraemon’s voice, I instantly stoop up and turned on the PC…it’s 0427H. It’s still dark outside. Ace just pee and went back to sleep while I was left coding in the living room until he wake up again, prepared and left for work. I just asked for a 15-min break when he emerged from the bathroom so that I could assist him with what he needs. Really, my husband needs me everytime he’s dressing up because he needs my suggestion and approval on what he’ll wear.
I am planning to log-out after Ace left for work so that I could get back to sleep to have enough energy for my 10AM shift but the Q was high that we even need more hands. After an hour, some coders logged in so I had time to take a break for 1 hour and returned to work around 10 until 6PM. Really, that was a long day. I didn’t even had a decent meal. I didn’t had enough rice. I just ate the muffins Ace brought home the other night and a fruit salad. That was all I had for the day. The captchas are non-stop. Promise, it’s non-stop that I felt my fingers are getting stiff. I used my break periods to massage my fingers a little bit to ease the pain that I’m starting to feel.
3 hours before my shift will end, my head started to ache and I was just gently massaging my nape and forehead when I happen to touch a pimple that is starting to appear on the latter. Oh, this must be the effect of lack of sleep. I hope it will only remain as a pimple and not develop into acne because for sure I cannot afford to have the best acne treatment. So I need more sleep starting tonight. I hope I could get at least 6 hours this time. Then, I must finish every pending thing so that I could retire for the day earlier than usual.

This is a sturdy tree where the foundation and posts of a house came from. I chose this as an entry for this week’s theme because I believe that a FATHER should be the foundation of a family. A father serves as a guide and gives strength to the family in facing all the challenges in life that come along the way.

Two of my high school batchmates died due to motorcycle accident when we were still college freshmen. One of which, died with his father due to that vehicular accident. They haven’t enjoyed their life yet it ended so soon. Regardless of what have happened, we still ride a motorcycle back home. It’s the simplest means of transportation in our area. It’s safe, I guess for short distance drive. In the city, I have seen a lot of people still riding a motorcycle but not much in the busy streets. When I first saw a “big bike” such as Harley in the city, I was like “wow!”. Seldom did I see it back home. And when I was employed in URC, I was amazed that many of the employees own such and they used it in going to work. A day came when one of them met an accident. His Harley was in total wreck (good thing he only suffered from bone fracture). After the accident, seems he has not been traumatized because he was still planning to get another one. Since brand new Harley costs a lot, he was looking for some used Harleys to replace the wrecked one. I hope this time he’ll be more careful in driving.

Going on a vacation? Is the budget enough? One hindrance in going on a vacation is the budget. I personally love the idea but sometimes it’s not within the budget and it’s not practical. Though the experience is priceless, sometimes it makes me think twice to go on a vacation especially if we only have enough. After our Camiguin escapade, Ace and I are thinking of going to Bohol or Bantayan Island…much cheaper than Boracay or Palawan. But if we can avail of Vacation Loans for sure we can go as far as Disneyland! It’s great to know that one can avail vacation loan of up to $1000. That’s BIG BUCKS! Like most loan requirements, one only needs to have an active job, a phone number and either savings or checking account. Hence, it’s not that difficult to get a vacation loan and go on your dream vacation. Who knows, we might meet in one of the vacation spots.*wink*

Why oh why? Opps pop up one after another when I just can’t grab all of them because I am also doing my online job? I have noticed it lately. If I am not busy with OHJ, there’s only few opps in PPP or sometimes, none at all*sigh*. Yesterday, I waited for a white opps but all were gray. Now that I am online for my coding work, there they go again….all whites in a row. Gosh. It’s unfair!LOL. I wish I was Super Girl so that I could do all those in a split second. So, my only choice is to grab one and write in between idle time in OHJ. Multi-tasking once again. :-)
