SubscribeThe other day I read the status of our wedding godparents’ daughter on FB that made me think something happened in their family. The next day, she was tagged in their family picture during the eldest son’s wedding. Then there was a comment “we will miss you Lucille”. I was frantic. I texted Ninang Janet but no response. I told Ace to text Ninong Boy and ask what happened. I could be wrong – that Lucille (their daughter-in-law) died. Minutes later, Ninong Boy replied to Ace’ message confirming that Lucille passed away after giving birth. Disheartening!
After midnight, I received a reply from Ninang Janet saying that their daughter-in-law died after giving birth to her second son last Sunday. The baby is now in DDH NICU (neonatal ICU). I can’t believe it myself. Lucille is so young to die and leave her husband and two sons.
