Thanks to Bankruptcy Lawyers

Life’s been hard these days – financially. It started with the recession in US few years ago and now we are not spared from the effect. If we are affected indirectly, how much more those who were directly affected like those people living in the US? I am just relieved that a couple friend who lives in California are spared from the wrath of recession and they were able to manage their finances well. So far, so good. But how about those people they know who were experiencing financial difficulty and came to a point of filing bankruptcy?

All the while I thought people in US are safe from bankruptcy – because they are rich! But bumping into one of hubby’s high school classmate one time at the mall made a sudden change in my perception. He and his family came home because their house was foreclosed.

Inheritance

Daddy called the other night and we talked about the plans about what we will do with Mamang’s only inheritance from his parents – his share from the lumpsum of my late grandfather’s pension as a World War II Veteran from the US government. If only it’s the amount is big enough, we would probably invest it and buy gold from the United Sates Gold Bureau (USGB) so we could preserve Mamang Eling’s money. But since it’s just a meager amount for a so-called inheritance, we will be paying off the balance for Mamang’s lot. Daddy said we will divide the remaining money among us siblings but I and my sisters haven’t agreed about that yet. Let’s see what will be the final decision when we get the money.
