Ecstatic! Yes, I am. Early this morning, I posted about my Yummy magazine and Yummy recipe books collection in my cooking and food blog. A few minutes ago, I was reading my FB news feed when I noticed a BC bloggers badge shared by Yummy. That caught my attention so I read the link that was shared from hubbyscook.com. Sounds familiar! Yes, that’s my blog!LOL.

I was beyond thrilled that my post caught the attention of Yummy peeps and shared my link to their page. I am really honored especially that I did the post without the intention of being featured, or getting the attention of people behind Yummy Magazine and their FB page. It’s a big surprise that until now, I cannot contain my happiness for that small thing. Again, thanks Yummy! You’ve made my day!

Not that I am one hundred and one percent law abiding citizen but I am too particular with small details in following the law. Me and my big mouth won’t stop “cursing” the undisciplined drivers who don’t turn their headlights to low beam, public utility vehicle drivers who just load and unload anywhere especially near street corners, people crossing the street that cause traffic when there is a pedestrian overpass nearby, and the worst that makes my blood boil are people who don’t know how to fall in line and wait for their turn. These people are BIG turn off to me and most of the time, people who seemed to be educated, who belong in upper class are the ones who doesn’t know or understand the phrase “FALL IN LINE”. Where the hell these people came from? Aren’t they taught to respect other people and follow rules? If they weren’t taught, it’s just common sense to just fall in line and wait for your turn if you see people are falling in line. As expected, me and my big mouth is always ready to confront and argue with them and I don’t let things like this pass without letting the concerned person hear my disappointment.
Last Sunday we were waiting for our turn to deposit my beach bag at the baggage counter. When it’s almost my turn, a woman with a box of cake went straight to the counter, stood beside me handling the box to one of the baggage boys. I told her “may pila po” (there’s a line) but she didn’t move back and fall in line. While I was entertained by one of the guys, I looked at her straight. Then she asked me in a proud, arrogant voice “anong problema mo?” (what’s your problem?) I felt blood rush to my head and answered back “nakapila kami, bakit d ka pumila?” That woman answered back, “ano ba problema mo eh nauna ka na nga sa akin?”. (what’s your problem? you were entertained first than me). If only we’re not in a hurry that time, I would have argued with that woman. She may not have passed over me but there are people next to me who are waiting for their turn. Then all of a sudden here’s this woman in her 40′s who looks well-off and yet uneducated and unmannered who doesn’t seem to understand one simple instruction: “FALL IN LINE”.
That’s the problem with many of us. That is why we don’t prosper as a nation because many of us cannot follow even simple rules. Shame on you people who intend not to follow simple rules. Who do you think you are? If only I have the power to make you disappear from this land and throw you to the moon together with the corrupts, I would do that. Then, we’ll all be better with law abiding citizens. It would surely be more peaceful and orderly.
So I’m done with my rant. I’d better go back to work and complete the list of cheap insurance companies that I am doing a compilation for future reference.

Goodness, this made my heart beat really fast! I am drooling over this!

Who wouldn’t like this new collection from Coach? I already have one like this in brown but I fell in love with this black and white Heritage Satchel – a new collection. I know I can’t have this now though but if I utter my desire to get one to Ace, he will give me the go signal. I am just satisfying my eyes window shopping at Faye’s flickr. But hey, what if I sell my brown Heritage satchel and get this? Hmm….not enough justification. I’ll just be contented with my beautiful SATCHY. After all, I am one lucky girl to have one. I mean, I am more courageous to buy it (because I know many won’t dare get one for it’s a bit pricey). Though my bag cost me a lot (but not as much as one of the Orlando vacation packages), at least for me, it’s worth every penny! As others would say, it’s a nice investment. Really? Then I should be aiming for more!LOL. Anyway, If you want the bag, just leave me a note and I will direct you to the beautiful seller. If you have the resources, go get one. I tell you, you will never ever regret buying an original bag from COACH. Just the smell of the leather is so satisfying. Amoy pa lang, sulit na!
(Calling on Manang Inday, get one now!hehehe)
