Would you believe I’ve been looking forward for this day? Yes…because of Sky Watch! I am so excited to post my photos during the sunrise shoot in Sta. Ana Wharf last weekend. It was such a very beautiful and stunning sunrise I’ve ever saw. Other photos taken during the shoot are posted in my other blogs. Here’s one of my favorite…the fiery sun as he goes up the horizon. I had it printed in 8×10 for the exhibit in a friend’s coffee shop. Read more… »

Happy Lord’s day! It’s another day to be thankful for all the things around us. Thanks to the sponsors of Scenic Sunday for initiating this weekly meme wherein we can share with others the beautiful scenery in our respective places or from the places we’ve been. Here’s a photo worth sharing that I took in Bago Beach Resort last July. Read more… »

I don’t know how to properly label this photo but the first word that came to mind after seeing this in my monitor is SOFT. I like the soft hue of gold in the clouds. It’s not as warm as any sunset cloud but it brings a quite serene mood. Again, this was taken from my favorite sunset spot. Read more… »

Does it make any difference when you grow up in the province where you are surrounded with nature and the living things around you in their natural habitat? In my case, absolutely YES. I grew up in a community where trees abound, spent high school and college in an agricultural university where we had much time with nature and learned to appreciate nature so much. Tree planting has been a yearly activity and it awes me everytime I go back to my alma mater and see the sturdy trees that we planted years back. With our young minds, we thought it was just a Mahogany tree we are planting. Read more… »

Here’s another photo for Sky Watch I took during the Kadayawan Week. Obviously, I am enjoying our new CPL. Others may think I should have cropped out the little houses beside the river. But I wanted that way. I envy those people because they can be with nature anytime they wanted and clearly see the sky from their end. If I were living in that place, I should have thousands of photos for Sky Watch now. Happy Sky Watch! Read more… »

My new work schedule allows me to have a walk to my favorite sunset spot…the Suncity’s entrance (it’s a nearby subdivision and a couple of hundred meters away from our place). Yesterday afternoon I had another “me and nature” time. I was able to watch a breathtaking sunset. After the sun has gone down, I was set to go home but when I glanced back in the west, a beautiful reddish clouds is spread in the sky. Read more… »

Back in my hometown, I noticed this mountain range is like a lying lady. Mt. Apo’s peak (in the left) serves as the face and the middle and right mountain peaks (I don’t actually know what’s the name of those mountains) serves as the breast and the knee being folded a litte bit. This was taken during one of our sunset shoots weeks back. Glad that it was not totally covered with clouds. Can you also see the lady or I am just imagining?LOL.
Happy SW!
