Our dogs just need some height to be considered service dogs – attitude-wise. But with built and breed, they will really fail the screening because they are all stray dogs except for Puto who is half-stray and half-breed. Every time Ace sees Service Dogs at the airports (yes, we usually see service dogs at the airport), he would utter our dogs could join the team. They just need to be trained and tamed.LOL.

Anyway, talking about service dogs, I haven’t seen those we have here in the country like those in some parts of the globe where in the dogs have Service Dog Vest. So, not only dogs joining dog shows could wear vests. There’s something at PetJoy that are especially made for Service Dogs! that would be nice though especially if its made by one known manufacturer of dog accessories, Ruff Wear. Looking at the site, there’s a lot for dogs! If only I have the money to shop for our furbabies, I would have grabbed something for them and I am sure they will love it! But then ours are guard dogs, so it might not be worth it to buy them something except for collar and other accessories. We need dog collarsso we could tie them easily without fuss. But for the meantime, they will use their current collars.

Many are saying we have spoiled dogs. Yes, our guard dogs (that we consider pets) are lucky they have us and in the same way we are lucky to have them too. They’re our source of fun and stress. Fun because Ace used to de-stress from work playing with them. Stress because we are spending for their dog food unlike other guard dogs that were fed from table food leftovers.

Maya looks like a service dog had she has a bigger built. She’s the most tamed and the most composed among our dogs like the Service dogs we have seen in airports. Ace loves the Service Dog Vest that he has seen once and was even thinking of getting one for his fave “pet”. It’s not readily available in pet shops and pet supplies store so he wasn’t able to buy Maya a vest. If he’ll get to know about PetJoy – the maker of working dog gears, he will definitely bug me to get our dogs something. A dog vest might not be perfect for them because we’re not usually bringing them out but a Hoopie collar by Ruff Wear would be the perfect gift for them. This is great when we walk the dogs (hopefully we could!).

If you’ve been reading my blogs, you would know that our fur babies are now six – five canines and one feline. Five years ago, it’s just one dog, then came another one. After four years of trying, they finally produced a puppy that made us so happy! Finally we have a puppy in the house. Months after, here came another two puppies.
