Being a technology idiot, I don’t find myself drooling over gadgets at its first release in the market. I could say I am a late bloomer. It’s been two years since I heard about iPhone, but it’s only now that it caught my interest. That iPhone will remain a wishlist item forever (perhaps) because I can’t still convince myself to work hard for it. What keeps me so disturbed now is my dream point and shoot camera for more than a year. Take note, it has been in my WANT and NEED list and not in my WISHLIST. I need a point and shoot camera for ordinary shooting so I don’t have to bring the DSLR anywhere. It’s so inconvenient to pull out the DSLR every time I want to take a quick snap of something that I find interesting to blog about.

Looking at my pending earnings, I could get my longtime dream point and shoot camera with it. But Ace promised he’ll buy me one from his bonus. Oh my, that means I will wait until December! The urge to get the camera is too strong that there’s no day I don’t find myself thinking about it. How I wish it’s December next week so I will not wait too long. Imagine the agony of waiting? I can’t deal with it for a month! If I waited too long before, I cannot wait that long again. Or, Ace will avail of a cash advance payday loan and buy me my dream Panasonic Lumix LX3 soon. If that will happen, I’d be the happiest lad on earth! Kidding aside, I am dying to have that digicam and I am willing to spend my earnings on it and have Ace refund the money come December or we could get a walk-around lens for our DSLR. It’s about time that we have to upgrade our lens lineup and Ace will be definitely happy should we have that 18-200mm that he’s been eyeing for months.

Back-up

Back-up time again. I am making a back-up file of the photos saved in the computer so I could delete those that are already uploaded in Flickr® hoping that the PC’s performance would improve if there’s a lot of free disk space already. I wouldn’t push myself to do back-up if there’d be no notification that the free memory space is less than 1 gigabyte. Talk about the great procastinator!hahaha. Burning photos is also a pain because the PC is too slow and one DVD lasts for more than an hour. That is why I almost don’t wanna do back-up of our files because my momentum is interrupted. What a good justification!*lol*

Anyway, based on my Flickr® stats, I’ve already uploaded 18,000++ photos and I am not yet halfway of all our files. Sadly, we don’t have print copies of our photos. I always wanted to have some photos printed so I could frame it but I am too lazy to resize it. I need to resize it to my desired print size so it won’t be cropped when it will come out from the printing machine (because people in photo printing shops are too lazy to resize the photos). Now if I can’t have our photos printed, might as well have a digital frame like the one in the picture so relatives and friends may also see our photos since most of them love to see their faces in the picture. I chanced upon that frame in buy[dot]com and it is so tempting because it is free shipping! Wish I have the funds to purchase that online. :-)

Hello! My few constant readers must have wonder where am I or what I’ve been up to lately that made me silent in the blogosphere. Well, I am busy with not so important things. I am spending too much time tending my farm in Farm Town and I am so glad that I am beginning to get tired of it so now I am back to my real self…to the real world.

Remember my post about our coming baby? Yes, finally we got it last Saturday! Thanks to Ace for making this dream come to a reality. It is actually a conjugal property (so I can’t say MINE), but he shared more to it as it is his birthday gift to me and here is our baby… Read more… »
