Instagram? Is this for real?

For months now I am drooling over instagram photos of my online friends. Lucky for them because they have either iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to be able to enjoy that Apple application.

Last week, I was doing my usual blog hopping reading digiscrapping blogs, looking for some tutorials that can help me learn new tricks in scrapping. Then I stumbled upon a certain blog post (sorry I forgot which blog) about instagram photo action in Photoshop. As you would expect, I was giddy happy! Downloaded the photoshop actions immediately and in no time I was already playing with it!

For you to see what I was talking about, here are my instagram-like photos:

Aren’t those look like Instagram photos? The only thing is, I can’t share it with friends over Instagram. Now I can’t wait for my iPad to arrive later this month or early next month so I can enjoy Instagram at its best!

Photobook is one of my pending projects for the longest time. I realized I need such because I have tons of photos and printing it would cost me a lot not to mention the need to buy a high quality album.

After pushing this project aside for years, I finally broke a leg and started making digiscrap layout for the pages. I am not an expert in digiscrapping so this is a big challenge for me. But as I finish one page at a time, I felt happy and fulfilled..as I am learning new things everyday while putting all the photos together in one page.

Simple layouts but it took me so much time putting things together. How I wish I have extra moolah to buy templates now so that making photobook will be a lot easier. More pages next time!

Preggy shoot

Two of my HS classmates that are based here in Davao are on the way. One asked me to shoot her maternity portraits in the coming days so I told her to prepare her costumes and props. While discussing the shoot over FB, another preggy friend said she wanted to join. So I will have two preggy shoots to do! Yay! It’s free, by the way, but I have to do it so I can have some preggy portraits for my upcoming photography fan page in FB.

Speaking about the pregnant friends, one is a medical doctor and the other one is a dentist. So the medical doctor was telling the dentist what medicine she should take and what she should not take when having a migraine attack. Topamax is on the DON’TS list because the doctor is very much aware of the serious side effects of the medicines on the baby. She must have read about the numerous Topamax lawsuit that the O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers are handling.
