Emars Wavepool is the first wavepool in Davao City. Heard about it many times but never dared to visit the place since it opened. I am not willing to pay Php200.00 for an entrance fee but if it’s a beach resort, I won’t mind.
Sister and BIL decided to hold Eman’s 2nd birthday at Emar’s so the troop went there last March (see, this post is way too late!). The place is fairly nice but too hot during the day because there’s not much trees around. The interactive pool is huge but not tiled nor painted. It might have been better if they painted blue on the pool’s wall and floor so that the water will be more inviting.

Aside from the Php200.00 entrance fee, we paid Php500.00 for the open cottage. Don’t you think it’s too much?
I thought there’s waves all-the-time. Unfortunately, the waves is scheduled – at most 15 minutes every hour and in only one part of the pool. So when the siren starts to sound, everybody who wanted to enjoy the waves rush to that part of the pool where pool pump motors and wave machine are located.

Eman had a great time at the pool and wanted to walk alone in the water…

…and thinks that he is a big boy…he likes to submerge his head in the water.

Ella and Toti are having a great time too.

And while everybody are in the pool, Eman got hungry. Carol wanted to bring him to the cottage but he insisted on being fed at the pool so Carol has to breastfeed him in the middle of the pool.LOL.

It’s getting late and we’re out of the water but the photo op continued. See the joiners in every photo?

Ace never failed to do his signature TUWAD POSE.

We had FUN in Emars Wavepool but we don’t know if we’re willing to go back there again. It’s just too expensive for us. BUT at least we have tried the place and we enjoyed it. If somebody will invite us there for free, why not?

It has been a long weekend and some of Ace’ colleagues from different departments went for an out-of-town trip somewhere in the north. I would really love to go but Ace has different priority (which is to secure the documents and money for our reservation fee for the house and lot) hence we stayed. Besides, we don’t have a tent where to sleep during the 2-days and 1 night nature trekking and camping. The reason why I wanted to go? Because it would be a great photo op and I wanted to travel. If only we have an RV (in my dreams!), being on the road and camping would be one of our activities during long weekends. But then RVs in our part of the globe is seen as a luxury (because it is not widely used here). Besides, I think there would be problem with finding a reputable rv insurance company aside from Good Sam VIP to cater the needs of RV owners. The company offers the most comprehensive insurance designed for RVs so owners need not to worry about their RVs should it needs replacement or repair of some major parts. Well, I hope in the next few years I could see RVs around here for if we cannot afford an RV, just seeing one would satisfy me.

I was off early because of abdominal cramps and I need to lay down so I asked Carol to sub for me during the last 3 hrs of my shift. Che2x was also home early. Yey! She will cook for our dinner. It also rained so hard so it’s a bit chilly. That helped me doze off easily. I wanted to sleep more but I need to get up and finish all pending tasks so that I could get some moolah for Che2x’s tuition and our camera gears.LOL.
Obsession in the DSLR is making me crazy that there’s no day I wouldn’t think of the lens, UV filters, bag, lens hood, memory card, battery, external flash, tripod…what else? I think I have mentioned everything. Weeks back, I was planning to get a tripod from my earnings. Che2x’s tuition fee is just a portion of it so I have an extra for the tripod. But before I got hold of my money, Daddy texted me asking for some amount to pay for the piglets he got from my aunt.*pout*. He got 4 piglets and paid only 1 and asking me to pay for the 3 little pigs. Now I am torn between sending him the money or getting a tripod. I told Ace this morning that Daddy is asking if I was able to send the money and he said “tell Daddy you will send the money that you are supposedly spend for your birthday.” Waaaa…Ace doesn’t know that the money is for the tripod, not for my birthday. Per Che2x, we’ll only send half of the total amount Daddy is asking. So I have until tomorrow to think and weigh things. My heart is into the tipod but my conscience is telling me to be a good daughter and set aside my wants.
