Shopping is something that can lift one’s spirit. I don’t believe in that before but when I learned to shop, it really does magic!Hahaha. It’s a FEEL GOOD thing that ladies love to do including me! Sometimes, I window shop just to satisfy the urge and then I feel good right after! If I can’t go out, I window shop online. Online shopping for me is the most convenient. I don’t have to go out hence it saves me time and money (of course we need to eat when we go out. And taxi fare is not that cheap now). So instead that my merchandise go through the usb barcode scanner of the store, all I do is add the items to my cart and click checkout. After less than a minute, I am done! The downside of online shopping is waiting for days, weeks or even months for the merchandise to arrive.
It’s been months since I last shopped for things. My addiction now is shopping for digital scrapbooking kits. I got so many pending photobook projects and I hope to use the kits that I bought in one or two of the PBs that I will be doing.
Wanting to feel good? SHOP! It won’t fail you, I am sure!

It took us more than two years to get a TV stand. For some reasons, Ace couldn’t make up his mind. He has this mental picture of a TV stand that he wanted for our entertainment set but when it’s time to shop for one, we always go home empty-handed. At one point he even considered getting a wall mount when he saw a number of wall and ceiling tv mounts in the furniture section of the malls we went to. But then, nothing happened. We still use whatever that we could use as a TV stand from the old center table to the old wooden cabinets, to the utility rack made of cork. Those doesn’t serve the purpose and I am tired of him changing from one furniture to another just so the TV will have a better “place”.
When we saw an inexpensive TV stand the other week, I told him to decide right away. It’s take it, or leave it. Without second thoughts, he agreed that we get it. So finally, our TV and other entertainment appliances has now a “permanent” place and hubby is so happy about it. Finally, the search is over.

Judging from the environment around the house, I thought it is cooler here because there are banana trees at the back and at the vacant lots in front. There are more living room windows that is bigger compared to the house where we came from. But days after we moved, we realized it is exceptionally hot during the day. When you’re sitting in the living room, one could feel the heat as if a metal building is at your back reflecting the heat from the sun. Hence our electric fan is turned on most hours of the day but then it is not enough that I thought about getting an air cooler. Air cooler is too expensive for our budget so we end up getting an industrial fan yesterday.
Maybe it is that hot during the day because our house is a little bit higher than that of the neighbor that we could see the entire part of the roof from our side of their house even if we are just standing from the living room. That is not normally the case if the houses are standing on the same level. Maybe the heat from the metal sheets on their roof makes us feel that it is hotter inside the house than we think it is.
