Ace turned 34 on January 17. We have no definite plan what to do that day because it’s a work day and they have a weekly meeting first hour in the morning CST so we need to be home before 8PM should we decide to go out. We’re planning to dine out on weekend instead. But after lunch, we have decided to have early dinner instead. MIL is cooking something – to have dinner here at home since we can’t just go out – but to save Mama from the inconvenience of going here at home and me on straightening up the house and the after dinner concerns, we decided to have an early dinner instead – some place else but not here at home.

We haven’t decided where to eat when we arrived in Abreeza Mall. First option is Ranchero’s. But Ace celebrated his birthday in Ranchero’s when he turned 33 so we opted to try something we haven’t tried before and we ended in the place of HUGE chairs and menu – Grab A Crab. Look at the photos below! The high back chairs are really huge with a super large menu!

After a few moments of waiting, the troop arrived – straight from Digos City. Then MIL got to the place not long after.

While waiting for the food, I asked the restaurant personnel to take a photo of us and she was very much willing to oblige.

We had Chicken Tinola, Mixed Vegetables, Garlic Fried Chicken, Shanghai Szechuan Crab, and Garlic Noodles (as the restaurant staff suggested for long life. Smile). Yummy! Two thumbs up to their mixed vegetables and Shanghai Szechuan Crab

Chicken Tinola, Mixed Vegetables, Garlic Fried Chicken, Shanghai Szechuan Crab, and Garlic Noodles Before we finished our dinner, the restaurant staffs sang a birthday song and gave their sweet treat to the birthday guy – his favorite Buko Pandan! Ace shared his Buko Pandan to us and we liked it! They used macapuno instead of the usual buko. Yummy!!!!

It was one simple dinner with the family. Good food. Good company. Good times! We arrived home before the call time for the meeting and we had a few minutes to spare for some photo.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Friends and family in the US are celebrating Thanksgiving Day today. We may not be celebrating Thanksgiving in this part of the globe but in thoughts I am celebrating. So many things to be thankful for! Life’s been hard lately but I am still thankful for everything.

Anyway, since we are observing US Holidays at work (particularly in the department where I belong), I don’t have work later today. Yay! I can focus on my sideline tasks later. For now, I need to prepare because we’re going out. Bank errand then dinner with blogger friends.

Happy THANKSGIVING to those who are celebrating it!

Two-gether, Forever

Four years ago, we tied the knot in front of HIM, our families, relatives and close friends.

Marriage, as they say, is not a bed of roses. True enough.  We have gone through a lot but at the end of the day, we still find the love that binds us together in our hearts and we continue to love unconditionally.

We have made a lot of happy memories that served as our inspiration to go on with life. We are absolutely inseparable and we share the same interests. There may be something lacking in our lives now but we learned to enjoy what was given to us and what we now have. What is important is – we are together every single day and we are spending every single minute of our lives together.

Four years of marriage and counting…and I must say…I wanna grow old with you!

Happy 4th wedding anniversary, Neyko!
