Our life, experiences, and lessons learned

Archives for Travel category

When I was growing up, we seldom get the chance to have a vacation – maybe because of school – but when we can, the whole family goes to my father’s hometown and spend the whole summer vacation there. Unlike my other cousins who gets the chance to go to the country’s capital, my farthest vacation during my childhood is Pagadian City.

Travel and vacation are the thing of the rich then. But more people can now travel for either short of long vacation now that airline companies are offering promo fares in their domestic and even international flights! Hence, travelling has become more affordable these days compared when I was still a kid.

Postponed beach outing

So our company outing is moved on July. It’s supposed to be last Saturday but the resort is not available so the team decided we’d do it on July. Beach outing on July? It’s rainy season by then!LOL. As long as we’re going to the beach, I don’t mind if it’s summer of rainy season.

Hope it won’t just be a day trip on July but an we’d stay there overnight! I will get decent sleeping bags for me and for Ace so we could have a restful night at the beach. The resort we’re going to is not developed yet so there’s no comfortable cottage where we could spend the night. With the handy sleeping bags, Ace and I could sleep on the sand if cottage is not available! Talk about adventure! I am just excited. Smile

Dreaming of a Walt Disney Tour

Walt Disney Palace Almost a week ago, my favorite airline had a seat sale. Sadly, we weren’t able to avail of the promo because we were out when the online seat sale started. Two couple friends were able to book a flight to Singapore because and they asked us to join them but I refused because I don’t have a passport yet. Besides, Singapore is not my first choice. I wanted to go to Hongkong and visit Hongkong Disneyland! Now I am starting to dream!

I wish we could experience one of the promising Walt Disney tours one of these days. I know it will take us time to save up for that dream vacation experience – one that I and Ace truly deserve after working hard all these years. While we don’t have kids yet, it would be nice to experience being kids again.

But then I don’t think I can stand waiting in long lines just to see something or ride something in theme parks. Wouldn’t it be nice to avail of the private tours offered by Michael Hewell’s VIP tours? The private tours will also work best for people who wanted to avoid long lines and crowds.

Should we will be lucky enough to go abroad and have that walt disney tour experience, I want to enjoy every minute at the Walt Disney World Resort with hubby because it would be a once in a lifetime experience. It will truly be an experience that we will forever cherish and will happily share with our future kids.
