Life’s Lessons

One of the things that I look forward to is going on vacation. Aside from seeing new places, I love getaways because it’s a breather and a way to break the monotony of life that is work, work, work, and work! Even a day off away from the city is great to keep my sanity and renew my motivation to work harder.

We planned on a monthly weekend getaway months ago but it was not realized. So what I only did is to keep weekends work-free as much as I can and I love it! Ace is also happy that at last I am not working on weekends. But still, I am looking forward for a long vacation. I want us to relax and break free from our usual routine. We need this long vacation so we may not be burned out from work and a great way to assess where we are now and where we’re heading. Can we have that much needed vacation in an island or in a beachfront town and stay in one of the myrtle beach rentals that is waiting to accommodate us? Myrtle beach rentals is a family beach destination and way cheaper compared than staying in hotels.  Aside from beaches, there are amusement parks, dinner theatres, shopping, dining, and much more are all an easy drive from the large selection of Myrtle Beach vacation rentals. Wish it is that easy to fly to South Carolina.

It’s been a while since we had a vacation. Our two-day trip to the island nearby is just a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life so it can’t really be considered a vacation. We do have plans of going on a vacation but we still cannot decide when because we both can’t leave for a week or more from work. Oh well, that’s the downside of being in a rat race! How I wish Ace is not holding a position with an important workload that will hamper the department’s operation should he will be absent for a week or more. More than a month to go and we will be celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary. Plans are not yet definite for that day. It’s either we spend a day or two in a beach resort, stay in a hotel or go for an out of town trip. But it’s a Wednesday so we might move our getaway on a weekend so we could spend a day longer wherever our destination may be. Life’s been good to us for the entire year and we’re busy with our jobs so we need that much needed rest and recreation. How we wish to be in an out-of-the country trip but resources are just limited so we might as well enjoy where our pockets could afford.

If HE will be overly generous to us and grant us our wish for a vacation abroad, we will seek the services of Collettevacations.com. They offer escorted tours and tour packagesaround the world and my pick will be one of the europe tours and asia tours. Yes, I want that two and Ace would definitely love that! I am dreaming! Anyway, we need to work harder to pursue that dream vacations. It’s not just vacation actually, because the tours will be quite educational because it is related to culture and special events. What I also look forward is the national parks tours. I love to see the national parks of different places. I really hope this dream will come to a reality one of these days.
