It’s two more days to go before Toyota’s promo will end and we haven’t produced even a quarter of the needed money for the downpayment. Oh well, better luck next time! It is not yet the right time to have a car. Maybe somewhere, somehow we could have it but not this time. So we will start saving for a car now so when the right time will come, we just have to withdraw the money and pay the dealer. But I am not into saving money in the banks because interest rate is so low! How about saving the money and if it is huge enough to buy gold eagle coins, pull out the cash and buy some gold coins to keep in the bank instead? And when we needed the money, just sell the gold eagle coins. I think that’s more feasible than me, saving with just a meager interest rate of 2% per annum. The bank will just use it for their investments so it’s better that we use it for our investment instead of them making money with our savings. I’ve already made the first step to saving for the car. I hope it’ll be up, running and earning after a few months. Way to go!!!

Weeee!!! Seems like we are racing against time now. We had dinner with relatives last night and something came up that made everybody so excited! OMword, Ace’ dream to have a car is within reach but we need to raise money for the downpayment. Argh! Toyota is having a promo that will end this month so we need to raise money as soon as possible. But if we can’t have the money before the promo ends, then maybe it’s not yet the right time for us to have a car. If only Ace heeded my request for him to start blogging long ago, probably we will not be having problem raising around $2000 amount today. Maybe we could have even used his blogging earnings to buy gold bullion as an investment. It’s not yet too late anyway, Ace can still start embracing the blogosphere and earn if he wants so it will be easier for us to save huge amount for his dream car. If you could only see him coming home during late evenings and calling from the office telling me that he’s drenched (despite if he’s wearing a raincoat), you would also wish he has a car to drive going to work. Dear car, can we have you this soon?
