SubscribeSchool year just started at least to some academic institutions in this part of the globe. One blogger chum’s daughter is entering college and getting a nursing degree. Many of our young generation now are going to nursing schools, not to mention that even the professionals are taking a second course in nursing. Well, maybe it’s because of the high possibility of going abroad to work because nurses are in demand in other countries.
With the growing demand of nurses abroad, nursing schools are popping out like mushrooms! Even my alma mater that is known to provide quality graduates in the field of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine and other courses, opened a college of Nursing! That gave me a big shock! Since Nursing students are growing in number, one booming business is sewing and selling medical scrubs and uniforms. Somebody in this business must be making huge money on it. Imagine the huge market of nursing students around the country? It must be a big hit! Selling nurses shoes is also a big hit. If only I know how to sew or I know someone who makes nursing uniforms, I might consider getting into business of supplying nursing schools with scrubs and uniforms for their students. Nice business idea, right?
