Life’s Lessons

We’re about to eat dinner last night when Donald and Ella came telling us that we will be eating at the Malacañang Palace (read: my cousin’s house)…just BYOB (bring your own baon). So I hurriedly packed our viand (sauteed string beans and squash) placed it in a bag together with the frozen Durian that’s supposed to be our dessert, wrapped our rice cooker in a kitchen towel and off we went to the palace. We had sumptuous dinner of fish paksiw (fixed by Manang Inday), roasted pork (fixed by Donald) and our veggie viand with softdrinks and Durian. The dessert? A long chit chat that we forcibly adjourned at 10PM because I still have to work and the students has to go to bed early. So when is the next potluck? Maybe tonight…or tomorrow night!LOL
