Been itching to post about my cousin’s funeral several weeks back but thanks to the slow upload speed of my ISP that until now I am not yet done uploading all the photos in flickr. I don’t wanna post the photos directly to my blog because it will eat up disk space that’s why I always count on flickr or photobucket. Anyway, I’ll rather post the photos from my facebook account so I’ll just have to copy the URLs.

one…twenty one guns….The twenty-one gun salute.
After the funeral, we were gathered at their house for lunch. I am dying to have my photo taken carrying one of the guns so I asked Ace to take a photo of me. Hey, we no longer have a cousin in the Military so this would probably be the last time that we brush elbows with the men in uniform. Ace was a bit hesitant but I am determined so I made the first move and almost everybody followed. Boy, the gun is so heavy!

Here’s a photo of the team who served as coffin guards 24/7. Two of them stood by the coffin for 2 hours on rotation.
