Wifey roles vs. work schedule

My gulay, it’s Friday again. Seems Monday’s just yesterday and now it’s weekend already! How time flies so fast. My previous post was about the night out with my HS classmates and I am about to post about Sarah Geronimo’s concert that we watched last Sunday night but I haven’t find time to resize the photos (as usual) so I must do that today so I could post it before the day ends or tomorrow maybe.

The weekdays went well. I’ve got work until 1AM and by the time that I hit the bed, I immediately doze off and Ace just wakes me up when he’s about to leave for work at 7AM. That makes me guilty for not preparing breakfast or even his “baon” for work lately. But he does understand it very well and tells me to go back to sleep after he leaves. I was actually thinking of changing my schedule – that is to sleep early so I’d be up before my duty starts but it seems impossible for me for two main reasons: (1) my body clock is not used to sleep early and I would end up tossing in bed until the clock strikes 11, (2) Ace gets home from work at around 8 or 9PM..sometimes later than that. We only have 2 to 3 hours of bonding time eating, catching up about how our day went, or watching TV before he hits the bed while I do my 2-hour duty online. Now I don’t know how to go about my schedule. As much as I want to work, I also have my wifey roles and the least that I could do is to prepare breakfast or his brown bag (baon) for lunch which I used to do before. Also, I used to be up and kicking while he’s preparing for work. And while he’s at the bathroom, I pull out his uniform and undergarments, place it on top of our bed so when he’s done with the shower, everything’s ready. Though Ace assures me I don’t need to worry about those things, I know it’s going to be “not OK” in the end. Hence I must do something to fulfill that wifey role that I’ve failed to do due to my work schedule. If only power naps in the afternoon could guarantee me that I’d be up early or I won’t be able to sleep until morning, this concern must have been addressed but I can’t stand being awake until morning. This concern makes me think of considering other options with regards to work but we have to weigh things out or after I have talked about my concern to our COO. Afterall, what’s the point of quitting my day job to stay at home when even if I am at home we almost have no time to bond and I still fail to do some of my wifey duties. That alone is the reason why Ace calls for a one day leave from work almost every week lately. Though his day at home would be uneventful, he just loves being at home with me, the cat, the dogs and the computer.*lol*

Suggestion sis, magluto ka ng marami sa gabi para may kakainin sya for breakfast at baon. That is kung di sya maselan na ulitin yung ulam :)

About sa make-up, go lang at magpaganda kahit nasa bahay. You will never know when unexpected visitors ang dadalaw sa inyo ;) -> Justification of why we should wear makeup inside the house…ahahaha! :D

I’m a night owl… I can never go to bed/sleep early. I am usually up until at least midnight! *lol*
