It took days before my post about Day 1 of our Manila getaway was followed with Day 2. But since Day 2 is full of activities and photos, I had to split it into two and posted Day 2 Part 1 days ago. Now I finally decided to post the part 2 of day 2 and finish this chronicle of our trip before the year ends.
After Tiendesita’s, we went to Regalla Towers to visit Ace’ Dad. We stayed there for a while waiting for Ace’ childhood close friend (schoolmate and classmate until HS) and neighbor Kikit (Ace’ best man during our wedding) who fetched us with his “girlfriend” – his months-old brand new car! Kikit drove us to SM Mall of Asia. It was such a long drive (not to mention the traffic) from north to south.

We’re supposed to have dinner here but took photos first (thanks Kit for taking for this photo)
Kikit lead us to Chef d’ Angelo – in fairness, it’s not-so-expensive
I had this slice of pizza, fries and chicken (the chicken is really yummy!)
While Ace and Kikit (who haven’t seen each other since after our wedding more than two years ago), are catching up with each other and talking about their HS batchmates’ whereabouts, we (Borski, Nai and moi) kept ourselves busy taking photos and talking about DSLR (I am convincing them to get a Canon 50D!)
Dinner wouldn’t be complete without a group picture
…and Ace and Kikit’s photo
after dinner, Kikit showed us the bay area of SM Mall of Asia where I took this photo of the tallest Christmas tree I have ever seen
and the lovers’ boulevard (according to Kikit). Behind that seawall the people used as a “bench” is the Manila Bay
a snap of Kikit while he and Ace are still catching up. Who would think that this guy is one of the VIPs in one of the country’s banks and one of the most in demand brain among other banks?
We’re supposed to be heading home but we stopped for some snaps in front of SM MOA with the globe in the background…
group hug! thanks Kit for taking this photo
and the final pose, Ace and Kikit. I still need to master taking photos in lowlight (camera shake’s a bummer!)
It took time for the two guys to wrap things up and finally adjourn their chit chat. If only we don’t need to be up early the next morning for our trip to Tagaytay, we could have spend a few more hours so the two could have more time to catch up with each other.

I wonder where the resized photos went? They must’ve lost their way. ^_^
