My first time to join this meme. I’ve been reading GT posts of  some blogger friends but always forgot (or just lazy) to join. Anyway, this meme runs every Thursday. Today is Sunday so I guess it isn’t too late to join.

The theme is FIRST DATE.

The first time Ace and I (with a friend in tow) met was in National Bookstore in Gaisano Mall on November 30, 2000 (o d ba, memorize ko pa ang date). That was the reason why NBS is close to my heart! After that first meeting (I was even nervous then!), Ace invited us for lunch at Island Grill (sikat pa yan noon)…oh boy, I was so conscious that I couldn’t eat! Sarap pa naman sana ng food! My friend was teasing me that it was obvious…I am so conscious. Imagine myself in front of a “good looking man” with such deceiving eyes! I could have melt at that instant. I could not recall how our conversation went that time but I can clearly recall I am speechless! What happened was Ace and my friend – Anne – were the ones talking a lot.

If I think of those moments now, I can’t help but laugh at myself. I am sure Ace will be laughing when he reads this.
