Life’s Lessons

Apartment living is not really for us, it seems, especially that we don’t have a yard where the dogs and Kiaw2x can roam around. For almost a year, the dogs – Puto and Maya – have been locked at the back of our unit where there’s not enough space for them to run and play. Soon these dogs will have a heart attack for not having enough exercise.LOL. Besides, I have not enough space for my plants. That made me really lazy to tend on them lately. We did move the pots to give way for the neighbor’s car to be parked in front of our unit. Then, Ace’ road bike is usually parked in front of the neighbor’s unit. I miss the usual home with its own yard. We’re living in a 4-unit apartment compound so it’s impossible to have our own yard where the dogs can freely run around and where I can collect as many plants as I want.

With this dilemma, we’re considering of moving. We wanted to rent a house near my sister’s and cousin’s place. There’s actually a house just vacated by the renter and we’re thinking to rent in. It’s cheaper by half from our monthly rental here so we could save a lot then. It’s only Ace who’s going out to work so it wouldn’t be an inconvenience if we move farther from downtown. Besides, Ace has a road bike already so going to work won’t be too much of a hassle.

With the plan of moving out from this apartment, I am planning to get some home stuffs especially kitchen stuffs (again!) We’re not getting new mattresses for the mean time because what I really want is to change all our dinnerwares, flatwares and cookwares. Also, I want new set of kitchen appliances. Ace wanted those too so we need to save for it….and by moving to the house way cheaper than our current rental fee, we could save even just a little amount monthly for those kitchen must-haves that we want.
