SubscribeThe DLPC bill was delivered too early in the morning and I was really surprised with our power bill. The first bill we received last month was only PhP254.53 (64 kwh) with only one week consumption. Now our whole month power bill is PhP1,927.19 (249 kwh). It’s too early to be stressed! Don’t tell me I need treatment for wrinkles sooner than I thought. The scorching summer heat makes me turn on the a/c unit during afternoons especially when I take a nap because Daddy has been using the electric fan then. Daddy is not used to sleeping with an electric fan but since he turns it on during his nap, it means the heat is too much. We’ve been using the rice cooker twice a day so I might buy a pot for cooking rice so we can save a little bit with power consumption. We’re using CFLs (compact flourescent lamps) to save electricity but we haven’t replaced the incandescent bulb that was in the other room.
Hope next month our consumption will be lower because we have already installed window blinds for the a/c not to overwork during afternoons and Daddy is not around so our electric fan is not in use most of the time, and the light that he usually forgot to turn off is rarely turned on now. On the lighter note, what is PhP1,927.19 in exchange to the comfort that these electrical appliances has been giving us?
