The BIG plan

We’ve always wanted to have our own abode but never did we thought of getting one this soon. We’re actually planning about it but not really driven to find one the soonest.

Months ago, we’ve talked to one of our wedding godmother and she advised us to find a house and lot soon and have it financed by HDMF or popularly known as Pag-Ibig instead of renting an apartment. So we planned on purchasing the house and lot of Yang-Yang (one of our close friends) located somewhere down south. But Penchie  (another friend) confirmed her plan of the purchasing the property so we decided to get somewhere from a newly developed subdivision offering big lots, if we cannot find a foreclosed one.

Then last month, one of my aunts mentioned that the developer of the subdivision where my cousin got their house is offering a no-equity promo. We’ll just pay the reservation fee and the developer will process the housing loan at Pag-Ibig. No hassle, right? Ace wanted to get a unit badly so he is desperately finding means to provide moolah for the reservation fee. Though the sudvision is located far down south and it will then be too far from Ace’ workplace, he doesn’t seem to care as long as we can have our own. Besides, it’s near our cousin’s house. Talk about living close to relatives! We can see each other more often. Hence, there’d be frequent chatting and food trips! Yay!

Just thinking about getting our own house makes us really excited (though the money for our downpayment isn’t in our hands yet). I am too excited that I’d be able to have my garden there (because we are planning to get the biggest lot) and my own kitchen! Ace, on the other hand, doesn’t care about how long his travel time to work would be, as long as he can call the house his own. Besides, it’s just a matter of conditioning. If you only think about the distance of the house from the workplace, you would really don’t care about living there. What excites us more is that Carol and Donald are also getting a unit so we would be neighbors. Isn’t that exciting? For us, it is! Now we are looking forward for the day that we can pay for our downpayment so that loan processing and house construction would start. Then in a few months we’ll be moving to our own place (keeping my fingers crossed).

Congrats sis! I’ve been wanting to have our own place that we can call OUR HOME. Maybe next year we can find one as long as Hubby got a stable job.

    So happy for you! :)

Korek sis!
