I know Mommy Julie wouldn’t want to see this. Sorry Mommy! Anyway, I didn’t violate any animal rights here and I believe it has no harsh effect in the ecosystem.
Mouse1: help! I’m stucked!
Mouse2: ok, let’s see what I can do….but oh, it’s sticky! I’m also stucked!
Mouse1: what should we do now?
Mouse2: maybe it’s the end of the world for us. We shouldn’t be here in the house because we don’t belong here.
I am disturbed seeing some mice running around here (but there’s no traces that the mother rat is inside the house). Seems they are making the house their playground. I could see them getting down from the top of the cupboard through the extension wire of the kitchen lamp. A couple of times I sprinkled black pepper (I have read somewhere that it’s an effective way to get rid of the house rats) in the area where I could see them most often but they still keep on coming back to the same place where they used to roam. So Ace and I decided to buy a fly trap. Maybe it will still work because they’re still small. After a week of keeping that fly trap, I decided to put it in a strategic area where they run around…and in the morning, one was trapped. Later on, the sibling joined. When Che2x saw the two mice struggling to get out of the trap, she was elated and then asked the two “hey, where’s your Mom?” (that’s straight from her mouth. I didn’t translated it.LoL) But then she felt sorry for them and even told me to pet the little ones. Hello! They are house rats, and not the pet rats we used to have before. We actually have white mice before back in my hometown. We keep them in a cage and feed them with pellets. Daddy even made an improvised toy for them. We even feed the newborns with milk using a medicine dropper when the mother died. But the rats in the house are different from that of the white mice so I wouldn’t dare keeping them as pets.

We have the same issue. Before there were two mice and we caught them using the sticky trap.
Then last week, hubby said there is a mice running around our house. Were planning to set a trap on the weekend once were done with our general cleaning for the holidays
