Our life, experiences, and lessons learned

I am expecting my ISP to be reconnected today. For some reason, Globe DSL is DOWN AGAIN! Calling Customer Service is not that convenient because Ace should have a minimum of 8 pesos load balance to be able to call Globe’s customer service. What the heck? Though the call is free of charge, there is still a need to have that minimum balance. What for? I really don’t get it. So, Ace is FORCED to load for his globe number that is now used mainly for calling the customer service every time we have ISP issues.*sigh*.

It is frustrating because I have tons of tasks that are due today. So I am left with no choice but to use the Globe Tattoo internet stick that I bought yesterday. To my dismay, Globe tattoo’s speed is CRAWLING like a snail. We are expecting it to be fast because globe telecom’s signal is not a problem here. Since our place seemed to be a dead spot for Smart, I chose to buy Globe Tattoo over Smartbro plug-it. But after using both, I was surprised to know that SmartBro is faster than Globe here in our place. The only problem when using SmartBro, I have to stay in a place where there is signal. Hence I am working uncomfortably near the front door with my laptop on top of a chair, without a mouse. I am not used to using my laptop’s touchpad and it is causing much delay because the cursor is jumping from one line to another. Holy crap! Such a pain working in this very uncomfortable position.
