Our life, experiences, and lessons learned

Busy Saturday

It’s been days since I last wrote a personal post. Been busy the past week. Since we arrived from our trip last Monday, I’ve been busy visiting others’ blogs. I thought it wouldn’t eat up much time but I was wrong. Reading other’s post is not a useless effort. Every visit is a learning experience and I do enjoy doing it not because I am obliged to blog hop but to keep me updated with what’s happening to each other’s lives lately. For the last two nights, I and Ace wasn’t able to sleep. He is undergoing a 3-day trial as coder. Thinking that I’d be using the PC during daytime, he chose the graveyard shift…from 12midnight till 8AM. As usual, I’m also awake during those times..taking his post when he needs a nap. Good thing that he cannot be penalized for sleeping while on duty *lol*. Yesterday, seems I have done much. After a a nap after lunch, I decided to do the laundry. Upon sorting it out, I decided to wash my tops first. That’s my way of washing clothes. I wash it according to category. It’s only my tops that have been washed. The others are yet to be done together with Ace’. After washing, my back pain recurred as expected. Our bed sheets need to be changed so I cleaned first our room and changed our sheets and pillow cases. Wow, another pile of laundy. That has to be scheduled. You see, I don’t use washing machine, not because we don’t have one but because I don’t use such even if we have. I’m not satisified with how the clothes are washed using the machine. After everything’s done, I have seen the cloth to be sewn for the drapery. I am so excited about it because it is my first curtain project. It has been my desire to sew my own curtain before but it was never done because I’ve been busy with office work. Though I don’t really know how to operate a sewing machine, I am confident that I can do it. Now, I’m done cutting the cloth to my desired size so that I could finally sew it while my sister’s sewing machine is here in the house.
