Remember the motorcycle that I was talking about? Glad that we didn’t get one right away. I gave Ace more days to think about it and yesterday, I was really surprised that he changed his mind. He was prepping for work while listening to the local morning news aired on TV. News report said there’s another vehicular accident involving motorcycle the night before. It’s not new to us, actually, because we’re hearing motorcycle accidents everyday and my doctor friend recounted he was operating a number of patients everyday at the OR of Davao Medical Center involved in motorcycle accidents. Considering that he is an Opthalmologist, he only operates those who have “damaged” eyes. How about those other victim of motorcycle accident that needs to be operated in some parts of their body, those who died on the spot, those who are pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, those who are brought to other hospital, and those who weren’t seriously injured? So statistics show that motorcycle accident is really high. I told Ace it’s really risky (hoping he would change his mind) and he answered we’ll forget about the dream motorcycle and wait for the time that we could get a car of his dream. So now I am relieved.
