Life’s Lessons

I’m like floating. It’s been 3 nights that I haven’t had enough sleep. Last Friday, I slept past midnight and was awake at 4AM to prepare for the sunrise shoot and wasn’t able to get a long nap during the day. Saturday night, I worked on the website project until past midnight again and kept on tossing in bed. For unknown reason, I cannot sleep. Last night, I thought I could sleep early. Ace requested to crop some of the photos he took during the basketball game and resize all of it so that it wouldn’t eat huge space in his USB. It was past midnight when I am done with it. I barely slept for a couple of hours when my throat started to be itchy and I was coughing all the time. Ace said I am almost catching up my breath.

I should be resting today but I need to update my blogs and do some of the laundry. Already done washing Ace’ uniforms while I soaked another batch. Will be doing it in a while and hopefully I could rest early tonight.

Talking about the website project, I realized it is easier said than done with all the limited resources. And mind you, I am working on it in a free-hosted site so my access to templates, plug-ins and everything is limited. If you ask me why I am I in this project when I am not a web designer, I don’t know. They are just insistent that I could do it because it is as easy as my blog and so I gave in and now it’s giving me headache figuring out how to do it in a free-hosted and limited site with all the demands of how it will look. Though hosting and domain name is already purchased, I cannot work on it because I just simply DON’T KNOW HOW. It was a lot different from my experience in purchasing a domain and hosting account and managing that account on my own. Still we don’t know if we can install Wordpress in the purchased hosting account. If we cannot install Wordpress, I would be hands down to this project. 

By the way, Ace called a while ago telling he’s not feeling well. He has headache due his sinusitis. Oh, maybe his immune system is giving in again because he was also sleepless like me for the past nights. Hope we could get enough sleep tonight.
