I’ve been talking about enrolling in a culinary class in one of my blogs this afternoon. It’s one thing that I really want for months now for some reasons such as personal satisfaction, continuous learning, and who knows, it will open a better opportunity for me. I am really decided so I wanted to know how much it will cost me to finish a few classes in culinary arts. Good thing there’s an event at the entertainment center in SM City when we went there late this afternoon and I got a pamphlet from Asian Center for Culinary Arts and it will cost me twice my month’s salary for the tuition fee of the whole short course. It’s actually short – just more than a week of whole day classes. Now I am in doubt if I should pursue that plan or not. I hope I could find another culinary training center that is more affordable than the former.
Should I change career now? Should I consider other things that is interesting and could possibly be something that I could benefit from in terms of monetary gain? Do I have a future in being a certified cosmetologist? If we’re migrating to US, I think the answer is a big YES for I could enrol in one of the cosmetology schools in indiana specifically in Regency Beauty Institute because graduates from such school (of from any of their branches) are the most sought after in beauty salons. Besides, certified beauticians and/or cosmetologists earn big bucks in the US compare here in the Philippines. So that’s something to think about.
